After my girlfriend got the CD and put it on while we tried to figure out how to switch the fridge's door hinges (so it opens from the right, not the left), I feel it must be asked:

Is she physically capable of recording ANYTHING without 18 vocal tracks? I mean, you know it's going to be crap, so that's no surprise, but ye gods, how do they demo anything?

Also, PLEASE tell me Peter Crouch pulled his trademark out of mothballs. If finding joy in a 6'7" guy doing the Robot is wrong, I don't want to be right.

So Elizabeth Hasselbeck, resident creationist wingnut () on The View, seems to be displeased with the producers and writers of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Why? Well, it seems one episode featured someone named Elizabeth Hassenback getting raped and murdered. Now, the show's known for ripping its storylines (off) from the headlines, but as I haven't seen the show (I prefer L&O Classic) I don't know if there was supposed to be any connection. According to the linked article, the producers have to clear all character names through the legal department.

Still, does she have a case? Is the use a name similar to someone famous's name attacking the celeb? Or is she just being an idiot? I REPORT, YOU DECIDE.

Anyone else pay attention to this game? Saw it on clearance in Target, and it looked interesting. Certainly a different take on pinball, I've got to say, although it's kind of frustrating when your Odama gets stuck. Or when the troops don't listen. But it's still fun, I've gotta say.

I have to say, the single most intelligent and thoughtful comments on that clip came from responses to rainbowwarrior777. Yes, you all wholeheartedly agree.

Although this was a close second: "Yeah! SRRSLY. WHat is this stupid shit. No one is screaming or playing rock music. You know? I didn't see a single can of Mountain Dew the ENTIRE time. I don't even understand how a calm ad can possibly be effective. Especially when it's clearly supposed to be in HD. I mean, YouTube HAS the sort of HD quality streaming that is needed to capture that quality, so WTF Sony? YOU GUYZ SUX!"

(Psst: the ad's way too brainy for its own good. It might be effective if it wasn't so... well, if it had anything to do with the PS3.)
