np: The Draft: "New Eyes Open"

YES! YES! YES! MORE MORE MORE! Hot Water Music, your days may be done, but everyone else in the band (sans Chuck) are chugging along in the Draft. It's very similar, musically, which is a Very Good Thing, of course. They haven't lost a step, and I'm already bouncing around waiting for them to put out something (ANYTHING) on wax/metal and plastic. Or, ya know, they COULD come up here on tour... If I didn't give my left nut to get tickets to Sleater-Kinney's last NYC show, the Draft gets rights to it. In the meantime, this song alone makes it worth getting the latest installment in the Punk-O-Rama Unsound series.

bass: Just 10 miles? I mean, I'm trying to think of where Salem is, but I'd be surprised if it was just 10. And where'd you get those? One of the Phantom stands that're all over the place around here? Target only had sparklers and... whatever the hell those things are that just sit on the ground and shoot sparks up. Can a brotha get some bottle rockets?

EDIT: Found it. Yeah, you pretty much ARE in the middle of nowhere. Couldn't even be bothered to finish the highway.

Meh. I find a strategically-placed Hard Knuckle works wonders in those situations.

As for me, that wouldn't be my boss calling then. She probably doesn't get in that early, and knows I'm almost never AWAKE before noon. Doesn't make sense to be in by then, at least while school's in session.

Heh... I tip my cap to ye. One time, I was out with a few friends (and then-gf) when a fight broke out. One of the friends was involved, but he didn't start it; some dickheads were following us around. Soon as punches were thrown, my only thought was get. the. fuck. out. of. here. Got pinned in a corner, along with the ex, table got knocked into us, we just got the hell out of there.

Why'd you tell Wendy to leave in the first place, though? Bet she won't be THAT stupid to go back now...

Oh yeah, RVD's defending against the Big Show right now, Test beat Al Snow (and punted Head into the crowd... SHADES OF POKER FACE SNITSKY!), and CM FUCKING PUNK cut a promo. This is the bestest ECW By WWE EVER!

My iPod (20 GB) is no longer among the living, but on my comp, I've got just over 80 GB (and that's just what I've imported into iTunes, not counting downloads I've yet to import). Phone? Almost 100 songs, because that's all it can handle.
