I really, truly, thorougly, and comprehensively don't get the point of it. At all. Nor will I, ever.

That said, I downloaded the soundtracks to Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari, as well as the two Advantage albums (post-rock NES cover band). At least there it sounds musical, whereas the proper soundtracks don't work as well without the games.

#4: I think he's asking if he can use the Wii as a comp interface, using the Wiimote as the mouse and a keyboard on-screen. Not a clue why you'd want to, but I wouldn't say never. HIGHLY doubtful, of course.

Dunno if anyone caught it, but a few slow news days ago, ESPN.com's Page 2 ran a piece guesstimating how many homers Bonds would have hit without anabolic enhancement. The answer? 616. Their methodology's semi-scientific, based on his bat speed and how much difference a slightly faster bat makes when it comes to being a stud who hits bombs (but enough about Doug Mirabelli) as well as his extra bulkiness. Most intriguing is their calculation that in the Year of Seventy-Three, he hit 18 more than he should have cleanly. 55 homers ain't too bad for someone that hold, but still... aren't people supposed to fade down the stretch? They estimated that he'd lose about a mile and a half per hour on his bat from August on, so that knocks off another 17 homers, including five more in his record-setting year. Oopsie. In total, they determined he cranked off 98 more homers than he would have legit. That just might be statistically significant. |
