At first, I was annoyed because it blinked and so on and so forth.

But now, this thing is AWESOME (in no small part because it took care of a problem in one of my forums). Really, if you're dumb enough to click on that link...

The ones he posted are perfectly safe for work, unless they don't like shirtless old guys. They aren't doing anything, but they're about to, you can tell..

I'm sure I've made bigger strikes in thrift stores. There was one Goodwill where I got a TON of Genesis stuff, but it seems only half of it works. I should post a pic of all the NES games I've gotten thrifting.

Priceless. There are at least 6 people in my post radar alone that are damn good hackers and not banned.

Say WHAAAAAAAAT? Weren't you banned already? Or am I thinking of some other guy who takes things waaaay too far? (Oh, yeah, that is a different guy. But just to make sure, can we ban everyone whose name ends in " 64"? )

Cara: You must've been a reeeeeeal good lurker, because you... uh, just signed up a couple of minutes before you posted. Unless you only signed up to post and read us for years beforehand.

Colin: On the topic of insectduel, well, at least he posted in there. And he'd give us an excuse to point out that in fact, wrestling is scripted.

Ah, here's the pic.

Hopefully you can make 'em all out:

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (11), Super Mario Bros. (4), Super Mario Bros. 2 (2), Super Mario Bros. 3 (2), Tennis (2), Tetris (3), Kung Fu (2), Dragon Warrior (2), Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (2), Blades of Steel (2), MLB Baseball (2), Skate or Die (2), Bases Loaded (2), Home Alone, Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, Super Sprint, Top Players Tennis, Karnov, Ikari Warriors 2: Victory Road, Excitebike, Mad Max, Darkwing Duck, Street Fighter 2010, Kirby's Adventure, Baseball, Solomon's Key, NES Play Action Football, Nightmare on Elm Street, Monopoly, Bases Loaded 2, Tecmo Bowl, Tecmo Super Bowl, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet, Tetris 2, Dr. Mario, Punch-Out!!, Metroid, Ice Hockey, The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants, Gyromite, Legendary Wings, Solar Jetman, Pro Wrestling, Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf, Dick Tracy, Base Wars, Double Dribble, Faxanadu, N.A.R.C., Days of Thunder, The Adventures of Bayou Billy, Dungeon Magic, RBI Baseball, Wizards & Warriors

That list and pic is now out of date, because I just snagged another copy of RBI Baseball today. As for that huge load I had from a Goodwill, here we go:

Sega Genesis: Console (version 1), with two standard controllers, one Quikshot controller, RF switch, AC adaptor, and soft game case ($15.00), "NHL 95" ($1.50), "World Championship Soccer", "Arnold Palmer's Tournament Golf", "Bimini Run", "Troy Aikman Football", "Madden 95", "Wimbledon Championship Tennis", "Bill Walsh College Football 95", "NHL '94", "John Madden Football", "LHX Attack Chopper", "NBA Live 97" ($3.00 each), "Wheel of Fortune", "Tommy Lasorda Baseball", "Altered Beast", "Urban Strike", "Evander Holyfield's Boxing", "NHL '94" ($5.00 each)
NES: "Blades of Steel" (2 copies), "Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt" (2 copies), "Home Alone", "Baseball", "Top Players Tennis", "RBI Baseball", "Double Dribble", "Skate or Die", "Tennis", "Ice Hockey" ($5.00 each)
Super NES: "F-Zero", "NBA Live 97", "Extra Innings", "Tecmo Super Bowl", "NHLPA Hockey '93", "Final Fight", "Super R-Type" ($2.00 each)

That's the only time I've been to this one (it's in Danbury, which is nowhere near North Haven). Expect me to plug my auctions mercilessly when I start listing things.

It's not like I got them all at ONCE, Colin. One here, one there... Besides, I'd imagine Ye Olde Genesis Collection would be even WORSE. No one gives away Nintendo stuff here.

Yeah, go to the main page, then hit the link above "How to". Look for 028.zip and win.

Am I supposed to use the 1 patch as well? I'm getting graphical glitches up the ass. However, it doesn't make it any less awesome. Anyone know what each individual patch does?

I'm sorry, what? We're not here to hold your hand through everything. It seems you did figure it out yourself, but do you want a cookie or something? Use some common sense. I wasn't aware "main page" was this absurdly obscure concept only IT professionals (which I'm not, mind you) could grasp.

SOLUTION TO NOT CLICKING THE BLINKING RED TEXT:

1) Place mouse over link.

2) Start hitting 's' constantly.

3) Wait until you see the text, "A trap has been detected on this link."

4) Hit 'l' to looks at things and get the cursor to land on the link.

5) It'll say, "Rune of Banning, Disarm Chance: Impossi-bility-ble."

6-A) Now walk away from link, and you won't suffer. Don't get into close proximity, or you might accidently trigger it.

6-B) Do not try to disarm.

...when did the board turn into Castle of the Winds? Because I'd REALLY like an Enchanted Bastard Sword right about now...

No I didn't. As Skreenname pointed out:

That wasn't run through any translator, that's on the page.

Clean ROM? Just look for, I believe, the PRG 0 one. Consult your neighborhood GoodNES to figure out which one you have.

As I have no great segue way to my comment, I'll note that I think I almost understand the European cup systems and wish there was such a structure for other sports.

Anyway, anyone else giddy that ESPN's pimping the Champions League final as hard as they are? Sure, it's on ESPN2 and Deportes (which would be kinda funny if it was the eighth station ESPN launched, considering the Ocho references they've been bandying about) but still, guess they figure it's a nice lead-in to the World Cup.

Even better: Microsoft veep Peter Moore pimping the Wii-60 combo platter. That's right, for the cost of a non-crippled PS3, you can (presumably) get a Wii and top-of-the-line 360. Ridiculous, no?
