Why isn't it closed? Because birthday threads shouldn't be in Craziness. ;P

(What? I wouldn't look for it there. It might end up in Craziness territory, but we start out in General yes?)

I think that's also true at ESPN.com's game. I know I'm mathematically dead.

Hey, why not George Mason? Who do they have to beat? Florida and the LSU/Uckla winner. They already beat four restaurant-quality teams, who's to say they can't do it two more times?

Neener neener, I went with K/9. Whoever's got Brad Lidge is probably in the throes of non-stop orgasms.

Anyway, in another league (for a change, a normal size: 11 teams), here's my roster.

C: Kenji Johjima
1B: Prince Fielder
2B: Jeff Kent
SS: Michael Young
3B: Miguel Cabrera
OF: Adam Dunn, Coco Crisp, Brian Giles
Util: Jonny Gomes
Bench: Bill Hall, Chris Shelton, Curtis Granderson

SP: Carlos Zambrano, Noah Lowry
RP: Joe Nathan, Huston Street
P: Scott Kazmir, Chris Young, Ervin Santana
Bench: Mike Gonzalez, Francisco Liriano

The following trades have been proposed:
* Give Coco Crisp, get Scott Podsednik
* Give Chris Young, get Craig Biggio

Why would I ever make the second one? And as for the first, would the dropoff in hits (Crisp +30 in 2005), HR (Crisp +16) and RBI (Crisp +44) be worth the bump in steals (Podsednik +44)?

Friends ditched me half an hour away. In no condition to drive home. Therefore, I had to drive back (as I was ditched) and am now dead because I drove drunk.

(YOU decide what's true and what's not, considering the date and all that.)

It's the innuendo of the situation that makes me queasy, not the shirt, silly.

Loyal followers of his foibles have MUCH WORSE mental images, ya know. (ahem)

Eh, they weren't so much shitty as I didn't let them know I wasn't leaving. ;P Went off to get cigarettes, get back, and they're gone.

The worst part? All they had were Newports. I fuckin' HATE Newports!

But yeah, considering what condition I was in when I posted that (as you can guess), I'm amazed I made it home safely. No doing that again.

Even if it was on the phone, it wouldn't be nearly as awesome as this. Oh yeah. Oh damn yeah.

Seen the trailer. Doesn't look bad, but my opinion may be less X-Men informed than others.

...and the Yankees, and the White Sox, and the A's, and the Royals...

Red Sox Alumni Report! (Sponsorship pending.)

* Bronson Arroyo cranked off a homer in his first at-bat with the Reds. He also got the win, going 6.2 innings and striking out 7 while giving up 6 hits. He was rolling pretty well once he got out of the first.
* Derek Lowe? You have ADD. No, you're not dying. (Wonder how many people are gonna get THAT one.) But it does mean he gets to legally take adderall, which is verboten under the drug policy.
* Johnny Damon still can't throw.
* Kevin Millar just slapped a two-run single, Baltimore's up 5-1 in the FIRST. So far, he's batting .600 with an OPS of 1.400. In five at-bats.
* Mark Bellhorn is 0-for-1 with the Padres. Howeer, he has maintained his high standard of excellence in striking out, and is on pace to K in every AB this season.
* Wade Miller hasn't done anything for the Cubs. But he's off the DL.
* John Flaherty is still retired.

When they tested my BA level at the hospital it was like .28 and that was after I had puked for an hour and stopped drinking two hours before that.

between four and six 40s of steel reserve? i don't think i could even live through that.

a friend of mine claims to have had eight 40s (st ides i think) in one night. of course the only way he was able to keep it down was by doing plenty of coke also.

Well yeah, I would think the cocaina would help. I had one 40 during Senior Week (Olde English "800" HG, specifically) and I was D-U-N DONE. I bow down.

Did you see it?

OH WAIT YOU DIDN'T SHUT THE FUCK UP AND GET OUTTA THESE HERE FORUMS

...that's my line.

But really, as I understand it, the movie was a love story between two people who, due to circumstances, couldn't be together forever. They just happened to be guys. Don't see what's so bad about that.
