I know what type of game it is, and I'm sorry, I'm still gonna call it a game. Anyway, I've seen it in action and it looks like a lot of fun. I'm bidding on one now, and I've got $20 on it and with 3 days left. |

| I keep looking in the computer at work to make sure the date hasn't changed (Unlike Zelda XD). Anyone getting the limited edition guide? | |||

I'll go to GameFAQs if need be, but for the RPG's, I like to get the guide for them. Mainly b/c I know how hard it is to find them after a few years. I have customers coming into the store, who are looking for FF8's guide and of course we don't have it and then I laugh a little inside.
Oh, if we get the game in early, its not street dated, so I can sell it and buy my copy of it as well. Example: The game Black came in 4 days before it's launch date. Since it was street dated for the 28th, we cannot sell it or we could get fined. Not a good thing. What really sucks, is that I have a store-wide inventory on the 2nd of April, so that's going to take away from play as much KH2 as possible. Oh! We got in a standee for KH2 and there's going to be a fight with myself and the employees....we all want it!! ![]() |

| Wow...that blows.
Yea, most PsX games are worth crap now. The most I've seen a game get, was around $12..and I think that was for FF7 (not 100% sure). I can understand the kid being poor and wanting something that everyone else has/wants, but doing that to a friend is just low. Good luck with this. |

| When people trade a game in (and if its a damn good game) and they get shit for it, I tell them. Heck, I try to talk them out of it, but most of the time they just don't want it anymore. A few people listen though, especially when they try to trade-in rare PsX RPGs (non-FF) that are in great condition. And I'm not really suppose to do that, but I'm usually brutally honest at work.
I've told customers before that there $5.00 trade-in is a game that we sell for $30 or $20 (somewhere along those lines). I mean, if you know that you're never going to play a certain game again...ever, then might as well...unless you can get more on E-Bay or from a friend. Heck, I sold my Marvel vs Capcom 2 for Ps2 for $70 dollars on E-bay and at the store, we give $22 for it. Not worth it. Sports games are the funniest. I've seen some games as low as .10 cents before. XD Anyway, what PsX games were they anyway? Any good ones that you might enjoy more than the DS? Are you able to get a DS later on? If so, just talk to the kid and tell him how you feel in a calm manner; don't have your friends do it. Maybe that'll help a bit. |

| You can't be more right, but it happens and will countinue to happen no matter what you say. Best bet, if this keeps up with the same user, he/she might get a ban and if not, just ignore the said poster. | |||

| Thank goodness my PC can handle that type of game. I mean, even if I had a 360, I would rather play it on the PC. Its so much better for so many reasons IMO.
Hopefully the game will be released on time, it was set to come out earlier this year. |

| TJ had to move to another state and he'll be back when he can.
And honestly, I've found better things to do than to post here as much as I used to. Plus, there's not that many people left that I really got along with and talked with, so that's another reason why I'm not around that much. And with the promotion...I have to worry about my store and I'm putting in 45+ hours a week and getting up at 7am, so I can't post as late as I used to. Add in the games that I'm playing and going out with friends and spending time with my husband and Stepmania Online...well, yea, there ya go. ![]() |

| You had a slap bracelet until they were banned.
Yep. I thought it was so funny that they had to take them off the market. I knew kids who still had them on in school after that. You had a bubble necklace. Nope You still know all the words to Baby Got Back by Sir Mixalot (especially the first part...Oh my god Becky look at her butt...) I downloaded that song a few months ago, actually. You listen to some of the songs from the earlier part of the 90's (like the one mentioned above) and can't believe you were singing these lyrics when you weren't even in junior high yet. Early 90's...yep, I was in middle school then, well, in late '92. You remember seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. All three of them. Plus, I watched them while at work a few months ago. Customers loved it. You remember Beavis and Butthead. Yes, but I didn't watch a lot of it. You've seen both Home Alone movies and believed that anyone who hadn't was living under a rock. 1st one was good, 2nd one was pushing it, and the 3rd one....and I think there is a 4th one, well, someone needs to get shot. You remember getting your first pair of Rollerblades. Shit, I remember getting my first rollerskates.
You had a C&C Music Factory album. Nope. Fun Factory. XD haha You loved shows like Married with Children and In Living Color, but you had to sneak around to watch them because your parents wouldn't let you. Yes and my parents didn't mind me watching them at all. Sometimes they would watch it with me. You remember "The Humpty Dance." Hardly....no really, I know the song, but I really don't remember the whole fad around it. You owned a pair of shiny Airwalk sneakers. What the hell are those? You wore a plaid shirt tied around your waist...with Converse sneakers. I had a plaid shirt, actually it was my mom's and I would have to bring it to school with me when it was cold out. Never had Converse sneaks tho You remember when alternative rock music was THE music of choice, and when it was all Z100 played for 3 years. Nope. I wasn't into rock until late 1998 or early 1999. You've ever said stuff like "All-RIGHTY then!" "Yeah Baby" "Buh Bye" "Do I make you horny baby" "what-EVER" "RUN FORREST RUN!" "Life is like a box of chocolates..." or started off a story with "so, we were all like..." Not really, maybe some lines from Austin and Forrest, but that's about it and that's when I'm just playing around. You remember the Gap "girls" and the Spartan Cheerleaders on Saturday Night Live. Wow, two different casts of SNL here. Classic stuff. The "gap" girls, I found out about watching old SNL eps. If you didn't have Keds, you had Reebok Pumps or Nike Air Jordans. Nope to all three You had clothing with cartoon characters on them, meanwhile you were in middle or high school. Yep. And I still have them too and they still fit me, but I normally just wear them around the apartment. You still think Tupac Shakur and Notorious BIG are still alive. Nope, and if you do.... You had either Umbro shorts, or Brine lacrosse shirts and shorts, and at least one Coed Naked T-shirt for whatever sport you played. What the hell? Nope...never knew anyone like that either You remember Hotdoggers. Huh? Again, another no. You had at least one of those nylon jog sweatsuits. Nope. You had a shirt with the Looney Tunes characters in baggy clothes on it. Yep.And see my answer about cartoon shirts Two words: "Hey Macarena!" i have that on stepmania! XD You used Sun-In to give yourself blonde highlights and wound up damaging your hair. Nope. I dye my hair, but I'm smart about it. You remember watching the Amy Fisher movies of the week. Nope. Saw the ads for them, didn't care much. You remember watching the OJ Simpson trial in school when they announced the verdict. Nope, it was drama class and we didn't have a TV in teh room, so a bunch of us were listening on my walkman. Funny thing is, we were on stage while we were listening. Teacher didn't mind. You had one of those big plastic pacifier necklaces. Yes, yes I did. Maggie is my hero, so shut up!
You dyed your hair with Kool-Aid at some point. Nope. Drank a lot of it tho You remember the comeback of Hello Kitty and had a whole bunch of T-shirts. Wait, that was a come-back? I thought the comeback was in the late 90's? You ever at one time wore those plastic baby barrettes you wore back in the 80's. Nope. You had a collection of Troll dolls that could put an old bingo-playing lady to shame. ...yep. You had one of those Magic Nursery Baby dolls. What are those? You've ever used the phrase "Hey, how YOU doin!" Just messing around and not in public You had the Simpsons sing the blues album and remember doing the "Bartman." Yea, you don't watch two eps of the Simpsons every single day and not learn a thing or two you know. I've been told that I need help.
You remember Vanilla Ice's 10 minutes of fame. Yep. Saw him years later at the resturant that I used to work at. He owns a shurf shop down in SFla. You had a pair of Smith's or Stevenson's carpenter jeans and you were damn proud of it! Nope You wore pastel or glitter nail polish. Glitter.
You had one of those tight, shiny polyester-like shirts. Nope You knew something had to be going on between Barney and Baby Bop. You also thought they were extremely over-rated and annoying. Never...ever watched that crap. Whanted to set them on fire tho You wore knee socks with short skirts. No, but I wanna wear them now. Especially for.... You know who the Soup Nazi is. Yes, but I hate that show with a passion When you think of the Olympics in 1994, all you remember is the Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding soap opera. That's when it happened? If you're a guy, you remember hating New Kids on the Block. You remember going to No Doubt's first concert. Nope. You owned any of the Jock Jams CDs. Yep. Now I own two of them...burned copies of it. You had one of those Super Soaker water guns. Yep. Had two, I was on the defensive You remember the song that went "you got what I need, but you say he's just a friend..." Yep. You remember when MC Hammer was popular, then tried to make a comeback (big mistake!) Oh yea Same as above, only with New Kids on the Block. Don't remember their come back. Someone says "I'm a little farklempt" and you know what they're talking about. Nope If you ever, in your life, remember using the word "NOT!" at the end of every sentence. Nope You remember Pee-Wee Herman and George Michael's little "incidents." Yep. You know all the words to "Let's Talk About Sex" by Salt and Pepa. Yep. You remember watching America's Funniest Home Videos thinking it was the coolest show on TV. Watched it, yes, didn't think it was "cool". You didn't think Brad Pitt was that hot. He's not! Not even today! You did, however, think Scott Wolf was adorable and wanted to be on Party of Five just to be near him. Ew, no. You saw Clueless about 10+ times. Nope...I think I saw parts of it on cable once... You thought Beverly Hills 90210 was the best show ever until they graduated high school. Nope You wore shirts with the 90210 logo on it. Hell no Your favorite music video was "I'm Too Sexy" and chances are you had a little dance to go with the song. Nope You were "Down with OPP." Hahahhahaha You owned a Hypercolor shirt. Nope You wore either the leggings with the stirrups attached, or the ones with the lace trim on the bottom...the bike shorts too. Nope. You STILL ponder why Smurfette was the only female smurf. Yep. You remember dedicating the song "I Hate Everything About You" to the kids in your class that you didn't like. Nope. After Wayne's World came out, there was that temptation to roll down the car window and say "pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?" Yep. You remember singing "Everything I Do" by Bryan Adams in chorus in elementary school. You also remember playing "Eye of the Tiger" in band. Nope You remember when Z100 went back to it's old format, and suddenly all the boy/girl bands came into existence. Nope, who the hell are they anyway? You remember "Where In The World is Carmen San Diego?" Oh yea. Played the comp game and watched the TV game show of it. You loved the Spice Girls...until they made a movie. Yes and I still do.
Paula Abdul was your idol and you had all her albums. You remember most of her songs from dance class. Nope You remember "TGIF" on Friday nights. Yep. You remember the "Urkel Dance" and the contests ABC had for Steve Urkel impersonations. Yes, but not about the contests...that's just...no. Save for the v'games. Odd...and Carebears. You know all the words to all the popular backstreet boys, nsync, britney spears & spice girls songs whether you admit to it or not. Maybe...
You didn't have a computer until you were like 10 years old. I wish! I was like 15 and even then, I didn't go online until I was 19. Due to the fact that I grew up poor. My reason is that RL is keeping me busy and honestly, I don't mind. Most of my friends (I mean the ones that I actually talk to outside of the board and who actually IM me when I'm at the comp and not away ) from this board have either moved on or MIA at the moment.
Besides, you know when I start to post, someone will be like, "She's spamming again! Someone say something to her to bring her down from her high." Yea, after a while, you just don't wanna hear that shit anymore. ![]() |

Lets see, my latest adventure found me at my friend's birthday party, where I put my own rules aside and I just kept downing jello shots. I had over 20 and my head was feeling it in the morning. |
