Yep, I've seen it done before too and it was very clean and neat.

As for this one, intresting pictures....yep, that's all I've got to say.

Hopefully someone can help me with this, but honestly, I might just have to call someone over to look at it:

We normally leave the TV on while we're not home (for the cats, plus, its always good to leave one light and the TV on while you are away, because then people will think that you are home) and when we left for a week, we left it on as normal. Now, the cats like to run behind the TV stand and they sometimes pull the wires in the back or what have you. So anyway, my friend stops by on Sunday and the TV is fine. Come Tuesday, the TV is off, but no one touched it. My other friend tried to put it in another outlet, and it still wouldn't work. When we got back home, we pulled the TV down to the floor and tried another outlet. Nothing. We tried it again, and then we heard a clicking sound. We went out to get a new power cord and tried it again; again with the clicking noise. We think it is internal, but is it worth to try to get it looked at and fixed, or should we just give up? The TV was a hand-me-down and was made in 1996(about). Any ideas? Thanks.

Thing is, the TV that was orgianlly in the living room was on 24/7 and for the past 6 or so years, the TV in the living room stays on all time...save for when we sleep or when I'm home alone and I want to play on the comp. So I just think its a bit odd for it to go out like that. Oh well, first time for everything.

Might try to get a quote for it 1st and see if someone can come here to look at it since its so heavy.

I'm sorry that you're sick. I would hug you to thank you, but I don't wanna get sick.

Okay, so normally my journal would have the pics up first, but since I'm only 2% done with the actual entry, I'll post the pics that I do have here.

I have more, but I'm too lazy right now to pull them from the disc, save them to the HD and then upload them. I've had enough of that for a while.

Plus, when I'm fully done, I'll have a mini description as well.

So for now, enjoy!!

Thanks guys! And I didn't think I looked pissed off in any of the pics. Well, some of the early morning pics I really wasn't awake, but that's all I can think of.

I hate to borrow money from people and I won't even ask even if I'm flat broke. And not many people ask me to borrow money, save for buying a drink or something like that at work, which I don't mind anyway.

For the past year and a half I've stayed the same weight. I haven't lost any and I haven't gained any. I swear, its the strangest thing, what could be the cause of that? I don't work out that much, but I will play some good rounds on DDR. I used to walk a lot, but stoped when I started to play DDR more, which was about a year ago. I drink a lot of water (and I mean a lot) and I still eat fast food, as well as fruits and cereal like Special K.

The rest of us pretty much collectively slapped her for that one.

News flash: If the program is full of fat people....IT DOESNT WORK. If it worked, it would be full of thin people. I refuse to believe that, were it truely effective, not ONE person who saw results wouldnt think to themselves "Hey! This really worked! I should keep doing it!" and stay on. .

I can understand where your friend is coming from though and why she doesn't want to be around thin people when working out. Its more of a self consciousness and mental issue. I mean, I'm not fat but I'm not super thin either and the last thing I want to do is join a program with a bunch of thin people. Makes me feel highly uncomfortable and I think the same goes for your friend. If you still want her to go, I would put pressure on her, yet encourage or better yet, create a program of your own and maybe she'll join along with you. At least that way, she isn't around people that she doesn't know.

Okay, now that I’m back to reality, where should I start with this journal entry? And believe me, I don’t want to be back to reality but it has to be done, I guess.

After working 12 hours on Wednesday, you would think that I would go straight to bed. But I was way to excited to do so and I stayed up until around 1am, knowing that I had to be up again at 4am. Of course, when I woke up again, I was sleepy as hell, cranky, wanted to go back to bed, yet overly excited, so I wasn’t felling too hot overall. Once on the road, I tried to sleep, but I really wasn’t able to, so I listened to the few songs that I had on my PsP. For some reason, the night before, I wasn’t able to get the songs that I had ripped from my CDs (thanks Colin for the help!!) to the computer to my PsP to work, so my song selection was very limited. I mostly had DDR songs (Chris loves Sakura) and a few others here and there.

So we get to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the place is very, very nice. Of course it’s a themed lodge, so it was like a safari. They have different types of animals surrounding the lodge, so you can see them outside your window; that is, if you have a good view. We met up with Chris’ brother and his wife and nephews in the lobby and after we were checked in, we went to our rooms to throw down our luggage. We were to hit two parks that day and we were running a bit late, so breakfast had to be rushed and once we were done we went off to Animal Kingdom. Nice Park, but I wouldn’t do it again, unless I could go behind the scenes or if the new attraction is open, Mt Everest. We had lunch at the Rain Forest Café and they had these drinks that you could get in a cup that light up. We had three of those on the table and it too us a while to figure out how to turn them off. After lunch we went to Magic Kingdom, which I’ve been to four times, and I knew what I wanted to ride. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly out, so we couldn’t go on Splash Mountain, but we went on all the other good rides. The boys really liked Space Mountain, which was the last ride we went on before the parade and the fireworks.

Day two found us at Epcot and I found myself thinking about that one Simpson episode where Homer is trying to escape Epcot and he jumps over a wall and he is so happy and buys a churro and its $20 or so dollars and then you hear him say, “D’oh!; I swear that scene was playing over and over in my head during the whole time. I mean, they had a few cool rides there, but I wouldn’t do it again. Chris loved Mission Space, as did most of the guys, save for the youngest nephew, Ben. The first time that we went on it, I had taken a Dramamine that morning, but I still felt a little out of it, and my guess (and others) is that I closed my eyes and I looked over at Ben, so I was a tad bit disorientated, to say the least. I mean, the whole concept of the ride is amazing, but with those G-force winds hitting you, it’s just a bit more than I can normally take. Now Soarin’ that was an amazing ride. You fly through different areas of the world and you can actually smell the water, oranges and pine trees. We had lunch that day at a place where you are surrounded by an aquarium; very cool and its something that I’ve never seen before. The tank had large turtles and different types of small sharks. That night, Chris’ dad surprises us by renting a boat to see the fireworks display. The only bad thing was that the boat is only allowed to carry 10 people and we had 11. Luckily, the chick driving the boat went back to get his dad so we were all able to see the show, minus the crowds. Too bad the smoke was directed at us because of the wind.

After Disney was all said and done, we had to drive over to Port Canaveral to catch the ship that would take us away and unfortunately will take us back again. Since we were already checked in by the resort, we didn’t have to check in at the cruise line. So once we were able to, we boarded the ship. Since the rooms were not ready yet, we had to sit down and have breakfast. Well, that was fine, but I was carrying a large garment bag with my dress in it. Thank goodness they were going to press it before the wedding. So anyway, I wasn’t in the mood to eat, since so much was going on around me and I was worried about my stuff. So after the rooms were available, I felt a little bit better. But something had happened at the hotel, that wasn’t letting me be totally at ease. You see, we were supposed to be back at the hotel by 10am so we could be there when they picked up our baggage. We got back to our room at 9:45am and our stuff was gone. When we were about to leave for the Port, Gretchen’s bag was missing as well and it took us an hour to look and ask around about it. Turns out, they took her bag as well to the ship without anyone knowing. So when we got to our rooms on the ship, I didn’t see our luggage, so I was still a bit worried. When we walked into our room on the ship, there were decorations everywhere and a small desert tray and wine. It was very lovely. I also noticed a paper on the bed, saying that we had to be downstairs (in the port) at 3pm. You see, we had to get married before we left the US, so it would be legal in the states. Chris and I took the paper to his mom’s room and she called just to make sure that we had to be there at that time. Turns out, we had to be there at 2:30pm; it was 2:20pm. So we all had to rush downstairs as fast as we could. We get into the room where the ceremony would take place and the Justice of Peace is talking to us and she mentions someone that we didn’t know. At that moment she knew that she had the wrong wedding party. Now, before all of this had started, we were told that it would be one wedding per cruise, so we were like, what the fuck is going on here? We rushed downstairs and find out that we were 30 minutes early?! So we finally went in, and this was the part where I was really nervous but it went really well, despite the drama that we had to go through before hand. We then went back to our rooms, and thankfully the luggage was all there. I took a Dramamine, just in case I would get sea sick and then we just relaxed before dinner.

The food on that ship is unbelievable! If you don’t like something, they’ll server you a different dish. The waiter and drink waitress follows you throughout the entire cruise. Each night you’re at a different restaurant with a new menu and the same wait staff follows you, which is great because they get a feel for what you like. Our wait staff as great; their names were Ralph (or King Ralph) and Diana, very nice people and fun to be with during this whole experience. But yeah, the food, oh my good, the best I have ever had, ever.

We went to Nassau Bahamas and the place is very nice. Not a place where I would like to live, but still, nice. Chris, I, Bill (his brother) and his three sons were set to go on a shore excursion with sting rays. I was a bit nervous the whole time (I was stung by a man-o-war when I was younger) so I stayed back for the most part. Chris didn’t want to go into the water, but I was able to convince him to do so. Unfortunately, he went into the water with his wallet, which is totally ruined now. After that was all said and done, we had lunch, I swam a bit in the water (which was a bit on the chilly side) and we had a few drinks. Rum is cheaper on the islands, so a Rum and Coke has more Rum than anything else. The eldest nephew became sick from falling as sleep in the sun, so for the rest of the day, he was asleep. He started to feel better later on. That night, I, Chris, Bill, Bill, Joe, Joey, and Michelle went to the Atlantis Casino; very nice and expensive. I didn’t gamble much and Chris lost $60, so it wasn’t that bad of a turn out; could have lost a lot more.

While in Nassau, I had my dress pressed for the wedding the next day. When we came back to the room, I found that they returned the wrong dress to the wrong room. Oh, and I was pissed off, as well as the rest of the family. I mean, this is something highly important, you don’ fuck this up, especially for the amount of money that as paid. Thankfully they fixed the problem and I got my dress back later that day.

I had to wake up at 7:30am to be at the salon at 8am to get my hair done. I was there two days ago getting my hands and feet done; very relaxing place. I was by myself for about 30 minutes before Gretchen (my maid-of-honor) came by. My hair was amazing and it turns out that I had about 27 pins in my hair and an industrial twist tie holding it up. When I was done there, we went back to my room to get ready. We were picked up about 15 minutes after everyone had left. We had to take a golf cart to the place where the ceremony would take place. It was just a nice area with the beach, the water and the ship in the background. So yea, I think it was worth the wait.

The reception was in a small restaurant known as Palo. It was sweet and to the point. Bill didn’t’ know he had to make a toast (and he’s been married twice and been to weddings, so he should have known better) and it was very funny when he said, “Live long, and we thought he was about to say “prosper as well. It was a shame that we only had one dance, which was to the Areosmith song, “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing, I mean, you would think for the amount of money paid, you would have the father/daughter and mother/son dance, but they didn’t. Still, it was very nice.

Afterwards, we went back to our rooms to change and to head out to the beach. Chris and I were solo for a bit before meeting up with Gretchen, her parents, and Chris’ mom at the private beach at Castaway. Very nice waters save for the really shallow areas and the seaweed. While in the water, Chris and I saw a sting ray. We mentioned it a loud and all of the adults came over to see, acting like little kids, it was cute!

Since I didn’t have to worry about watching my weight and not being drunk, after the wedding, I didn’t care anymore. Of course, it turns out that I didn’t gain any weight anyway, so that’s a good thing. Anyway, that night was Pirates in the Caribbean Night where everyone is dressed up as pirates. It was a lot of fun and I ended up getting really toasted that night.

The next day was a full day out in sea so we had to find stuff to do. Chris and I stayed in bed a bit later and had breakfast out on the balcony of our room. One of the fun events that a few of us took part in was the Martini tasting. You pay $15 for 5 different types of Martinis. Funny thing is, we went there at 2pm, so by 2:30pm, we’re nice and toasted.

So there you have it! The pictures will say more than the entry, I think, so enjoy them. I’ll try to add more as they come in.

We came back early Thursday and that night Chris, Andrew and I went to the Hollywood Ale House. Since he and Chad watched our apartment and cats while we were away, we wanted to take them out to dinner. That Saturday we took Chad out to Chili’s and Shannon came along as well. Sunday took us to the western side of Florida where I saw my dad and grandmother and gave them a DVD of the wedding.

I have to be back at work on Wednesday so its back to reality! Chris is already planning our one year anniversary on another cruise line. Hopefully we can make it happen, since we had so much fun!

Its an apartment, there's not much we cam do as far as security. As mentioned before, its mostly for the cats anyway.

If it's going to be about $100 to have someone look at it, then we might just go ahead. But if it gets to be over..lets see $300, then its not worth it. We have two other TVs anyway.

Sad to hear about this...but, I heard that they'll still be making games, just not under the WD label...so hopefully we'll see some good RPGs in the near future.

On my quest to play old PsX RPGs, my 1st stop is Thousand Arms.

I'm about an hour into it, and its hard to say if I'll really like it or not. The battle system is intresting, since you fight monsters one at a time and you need to have your best fight up in the front and the rest of the chars are in the back for support.
