| I just find it to be a handy reference when doing dungeon editing because it puts it all in one window seperate from HM so you don't have to keep switching between the overworld and the dungeon editor, and the white boxes makes the entrances easier to see. I know it's not too useful, but it helps me plan a little better. | |||

| Hi, I thought I'd try to trade before I ebay these. GAMES I HAVE TO TRADE: "Socom: Fireteam Bravo" (PSP), "Twisted Metal: Head-on" (PSP), "PoPo Lo Crois" (PSP), and "Paper Mario" (GC). SOME GAMES I'M SEEKING: "Goemon's Great Adventure" (N64), "Katamari Damacy" (PS2, maybe PSP), "Robotron 64" (N64), "Puzzle Fighter" (PS1), "Mario Sunshine" (GC), Rez (PS2), and an SNES Game Genie. Please email me if you're interested, have a question, or would like to make an offer and we'll work out all the details! | |||

| Okay, in the dungeon editor, when you insert a hole (object 0A4) you usually fall through to another random room. I'm pretty sure that I have to turn BG2 off to make that not happen, but it won't save. Any advice? Also, is it possible to place pits on BG2? | |||

| OMG, that was HILARIOUS! Wow, if he really was acting, then he's the man, but it looked too crappy to have been staged, he was probably keeping a video journal, or was gonna send it to the forum staff. Ahhh, I love random internet videos. Feel sorry for the kid though. | |||

| Yeah, I just posted a similar question yesterday. I believe what you have to do is change the setting in your BG2 menu (I'm trying to turn BG2 off), the only problem is that it won't save after I change it, so I'm not yet sure how to make that work properly. | |||

| Hmmm, I must have missed that in the faq (now I feel dumb), I'll try it out! the_icepenguin: I just got your PM's, but I don't know how to send one ot you (I didn' even know we could do that). Anyways, sounds cool we should talk more. Just email me (noha420@rock.com), so we can communicate that way, I also have ICQ (IM Service), I'll give you that number too, if you use. Thanks! | |||

| Wait, so the BS Zelda (Ancient stone tablets) had a day/night/weather system in it? The game with all the missing dungeon GFX? I hadn't noticed that. Jasp: if you get far enough along, do you plan on adding random weather changes (rain), or will that be a whole new can of worms? Btw, great work so far! | |||

| I think it would be fine to make it approval-only, but it still has to be newb friendly. I suggest we just make a special newbie forum where people can ask all their dumb questions. An advanced ROM hacking forum would also be a good idea, or one for questions regarding editors, etc. Just split it up more, and make all the more advanced forums approve-only. That would be the best way to do it. This is truly the best site I know of for ROM hacking discussion, and I never would have gotten into it if I couldn't post. And I'm guilty of asking some dumb questions too, but I do learn from them, and quickly, and if there were a special section for newbs, I would have asked them all there. Also, I'm focusing my efforts on one particular at the moment, but when I switch to a different game I may have some new dumb questions, and it would be nice to have a place to ask them without annoying any members that are dealing with more advanced stuff. So basically, more topics! Why not? | |||

| Hey, my name is Noah. I have only been a member here for about 1/2 a year, and I feel I have learned a lot in that small amount of time. I am well aware of the rules, what is acceptable here and will not be out of line.
I have been putting most of my effort into learning Hyrule Magic, which I have become good with. I am currently making a zelda3 hack with another member (the_icepenguin). I am currently working on changing the Graphics, and it's going well! I am also interested in mario hacking, and may want to get into that in the future, but Zelda3 is my main focus. I enjoy having a place where I can discuss and share with others who are knowledgeable, and appreciative of this art. I have learned a lot, and intend to learn much more. Please let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks, -Noah |

| Hey, I'm trying to insert new overworld block graphics using HM. I'm just having trouble inserting the 1'st overworld blockset (8x8 blocks 0-63). It will all go smoothly until I close Hyrule Magic, it says "Bad error happened, Not enough space for blockset 58", and they won't be saved. The other bocksets I can insert and save with no problems. I'll probably just wind up reconfiguring by blocks into another set or two, but does anyone have any tips before I do that? | |||

| Yeah, I'll probably just use zcompress. I'll probably want to change some sprite GFX as well which I can't do with HM anyway. I'll just use zcompress to do it all at once. But if anyone happens to know why HM was rejecting my graphics in the first place, I'd still like to know anyway. Thanks for the input! | |||

| I have just one suggestion for the copyright date in the title screen, why not just make it 2007, and maybe move the copyright symbol directly to the left or right of "NINTENDO". | |||

| The utility used to edit enemy strength is called Hyrule Add-ons, by Elucid. I have it on hand, just email me, and I'll send it back to you. I'll probably post in on romhacking.net eventually, since it's not out there. Just write me via my email address noha420@rock.com | |||

| Anyone know what happened to this project? The site is gone, and www.bripro.com seems like it's rarely updated. |
