Yeah, the ROM was leaked already.
Pipsy, Tiptup, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Tiny Kong, Timber, Bumper, Krunch, and four mystery characters. I haven't played it long enough to really unlock anything, I only just beat the first area.

I really hate anything involving the touch screen. The boss touch challenge is just dumb, trying to drive with the stylus is not fun at all. The bonus stage they replaced the silver coin challenge with is pretty stupid too. You're flying on a magic carpet around one lap of a course, and you use the stylus to turn, tap balloons, and drag coins into your coin bag. Maybe I'm being a snob because I loved the original so much, but I'd much rather go get the silver coins.

Update: Hmm, the regular coins I mentioned before allows you to buy things. One of these things available

I figure this can be the official location for friend codes, since the other thread is a poll about thoughts on what the game might be like.

So far I've only played with Kirbynite, and I'm digging it. When you log on, you can see exactly which of your friends are online. Rather than just connect to friends and hope for the best, you can host a game while others connect to you, and you are able to cut off the wait whenever you want. In short, it's a big improvement over Mario Kart's wifi.

I realize most won't have a friend code until the game is officially released, but I trust the numbers will shoot up soon. It's a lot of fun. They even have the battle levels online! Woo.

I went to an EB Games last week and PS3s were just hanging around. No one wants them.

Congratulations on grabbing a Wii, although I don't know where "Yea. Right. Parents insisted noone was camping out for the Wii still. " is coming from. Is this some well-known thing? Who's saying that?
