That was just so... Stupid.
That reminds me of when I went to the local fair and heard a middle-aged man ordering a hot dog or something. The worker, who had a thick Polish accent, told him that it was "four twenty-five", but he misunderstood and tried to explain that he only wanted one. After some more confusion, he just gave up and walked away. He probably thought she was just a dumbass foreigner.
