Anikiti, Ghettoyouth and Bouche have all created things that have held my attention for more than six seconds, so they get my vote.

I also accidentally clicked on Blackhole because for some reason I mixed him and Youth up, but he's good people so he gets my vote anyway.

I would thank everyone for voting for me, but I just realised Legoman has more votes than me. Fucking OUCH.

...Except the person looking for the hack.

Seriously -- no need to get pissed at someone for asking a question. I mean that's kind of the point of having these messageboards.
But insectduel is King Jesus! You must not question him or you will suffer the wraith of his misguided internet rage.

Can you please remove the last three words from that sentence? It would really up the IQ and "non-prick" levels of this board a great deal.

I should release some tilesets, but people would bitch about the sky colour.

For six pages.

I use SMAS as a base to chop, change and work off while keeping things Mario-ish.

There's a utility on FuSoYa's site to decompress Zelda 3's graphics to a Lunar Magic-style seperate file, and reinsert it.

Unfortunately Giana Sisters levels would require a lot of rework to work in a Mario game, as the Mario levels use 16x16 tiles wheras Giana uses 8x8.

And from the screenshots, it looks like a good first attempt. I'll give it a try later.

I made shiny new sprites, palletes and mappings for mario, yet when on the overworld, some of these colors are for some reason overwritten, thus making one of my character's shades yellow.

How can I avoid this?

2) --- Not as big but you might want to take this into consideration. Now this may be just me but you cactuses on the world map look an awful lot like green traffic lights. That could be just me but I'd advise changing it.

Besides that this hack still looks pretty good and ou've done a nice job on the overorld without the coin-chain thingys between levels this does a nice way to resemble Mario World keep up the good work.
The overworld isn't a really big difference over the original "free roaming" demo hack someone released, I can't remember who. Same graphics and similar layout.

Some sprites use the Mario pallete and as a result they need adjustment.

Also Rex's head is somewhat offset from his body.

If a newbie posts a stupid thread, well erase it. If he posts 5, erase them all. The way I see it is a normal manteinance clean-up. It's like mowing the lawn. Nuking the lawn and deploying a task force doesn't make it look any better!
Maybe if they read the rules in the first place, and practiced a bit before posting their glitchy messes, we wouldn't HAVE stupid threads. This is what we're trying to fix.
