Yeah the goomba's feet anims kinda suck. I might redo the foot anims using the SMW goomba's feet, I've just been busy lately, so I haven't been able to do any more.

Please accept a blob screaming to it's doom as condolences.

The "stretching cheek" is supposed to be his back, but I should probably alter the shading to better show that. Any ideas on how I can do that better?

"Combat Devolved" would be cute, since you're converting it back to 2D.

You released a text hack called Extreem Buttseckz. You have about as much right to complain about anything to do with romhacking as I have to complain about petrol prices without owning a car.

But common, you guys can TELL there's something wrong here. Don't say that the ROM hacking world is fine and dandy after reading 5 threads like this one.
Yes, I see something wrong. Namely that you aren't getting off your ass and releasing something worth a shit. Maybe then your claims will have merit.

Stay there.

And as for you...

OK, does anyone have any sprite sheets i can directly copy into Hyrule Magic?

I would love to have

a sheet to replace the Bully and winp sprites with a light world version

I would also like to have a horse or a cow or both to make lon lon ranch more complete

a sheet to let me put random stuff

anything basically, i would just love new stuff, if anyone has one i would love them to give me it
Such files generally don't exist. However, it's easy enough to open up the graphics data in a graphics editor (via YYCHR) and adding in graphics from spritesheets from sites like The Shyguy Kingdom. This can be kinda annoying and has it's quirks at times, but it's the best way to get the effect you want.

o ye, does anyone know how to make the scared girl sprites NOT run away after speakin to them?
As I don't edit Zelda 3, I'm not a hundred percent certain, but this would probably require a tweak or two to the sprite in a hex editor. Just a matter of finding the values.

I believe that if we make the forum approve-only, we at least need a FAQ/sticky, preferably with a 46-point font name, answering certain newbie questions and linking to beginners tutorials.

EXACTLY! Look at lego's first hack, Wirtual Mission I think it was? Anyway, it was fucking atrocious. But the last hack he released here before getting banned was, while not great, quite playable, and more worthy of constructive criticism instead of outright lulz.

Everyone can improve, it's just that we're either too nice or too nasty. I'm not sure what the happy medium would be, though.

Every individual texture in Source is at least two files: A VTF graphic and a VMT material definition. There's more that could be used, but nothing that would be used for an N64 port

Anyway, I guess that using an emulator or utility to dump the 3d geometry memory from the emulator, you could load that up in XSI Mod Tool and resave it as a Hammer map.

But honestly? Remaking it from scratch would probably be the best way.

WHY HAVE NONE OF YOU FUCKERS POSTED ABOUT THIS YET?????

Finally, a level editor for Goldeneye. This editor allows you to edit every aspect of a Goldeneye setup file, including objectives, objects, actions, intros, paths, presets, and even additional features such as text and briefing editing for the level.

You have the power to open any setup file from the game and modify it, or create your own from scratch. Then, upon completion you can either convert the ROM of Goldeneye for emulator play, or upload the results to console through the use of a parallel port and GameShark.

Valve Time's a joke referring to Valve Software's habit of overly ambitious release dates, and generally taking a while to finish and fix things.

Unfortunately my guess is somewhere between now and never never never.
