A Zelda 64 map viewer would be an impressive technological feat, although I guess it can kinda be half-assed already via the Debug ROM's debug camera.

I want to put the luigi moddle from Mario Party in there, and the dk one fromDK64.

YOU CAN NOT IMPORT MODELS, AND YOU PROBABLY WON'T EVER BE ABLE TO.

Textures can be edited already using the decompressor and Tile Molester.

That his stupidity transcends language differences? Regardless of not knowing english, he's still blatantly dumb as a post, and a sprite thief to boot (and don't mention game rips as being "wrong" while you're emulating copyrighted SNES games, hypocrite!)

And you guys wonder why this forum is in the Crap section.

This effectively means that you can "remix" Mario 64, creating new star objectives for the original levels.

This has been done already!

OK, I just gave it a shot: This is much easier to insert sprites into than I would have expected! I'll have to dick around with this some more...

Quick question, what would be the right way to insert extra sprites into a ROM we've already inserted into? Just reinsert, or make a new sprites.txt without the previous sprites?

The one I'm using now is okay, but the noise/sample channel is somewhat off, and it chokes on the extra sound channel from the Famicom.

I find that ripping works if it is only used as a base, and you chop and change and edit and generally screw with it until everything fits.

The headquarters/spacebase in Ninji Saga was kind of like this - it was the bastard child of super metroid, smb2, megaman and duke nukem 2 for the pc.

If people are just going to rip stuff, please, at least try to rip it from games that haven't been ripped a million times. Like PC/Amiga/Atari ST games. Then you HAVE to edit them to make them fit properly in the pallete/proper tile size, and it will look good and different from the norm for it.
