3 and 88.

I guess that 88 is one because I was born in 1988.

The number 3 has to do with my nickname.

This is probably going to sound noobish, but I'm going to say it anyway.
I'm making a decision about if I should changed Mario's SMW GFX to one from another Mario game. I was thinking of using the graphics from SMB1 from SMAS because I know many hacks contain the GFX from SMB3. Also, I was thinking of using sprites from SML2 (since I already have some SML2 ExGFX in my hack.)
Do you guys used spritesheets and copy the sprites to YY-CHR or is there another way to insert the sprites? Also, does anybody have any .zip files for Mario graphics of any game? SMB 1 or SMB 3 would be ok.

You could. Basically if you want the battle theme to continue when Bowser zooms in and out, you will actually need to bypass the original music for the bowser battle even though it won't change after you save the princess. I think the music for Bowser is sorta messed up because of the track has overwritten the Bowser zoom in/out SFX. Hope that helps.

Here's a couple of screenies of Rocky Range, the world I'm working on now on SMW Hack.

Part of Rock-A-Way Isle (fork from Grainy Plains to Rocky Range)

I've changed Blargg's to Fire Nepenuts. Also, even though the fire looks gray, I've changed it.

Part of Rocky Oil Line, the level is short that's why the time is low too.

I made tons of changes to this hack, some new enemies, and a true ending.

I used Tweaker to change the palletes of some enemies, I'm trying to change the monty mole red (I've changed it to another enemy) when I boot up my SMW hack by Lunar Magic and see if the enemy pallete has changed, the enemy still stays as the orignal pallete it has. Is it because some enemies can't have their palletes changed?

Edit:I didn't know if this should have belonged in SMW hacking or this section.

I have changed other enemies' palletes and viewed them in the game and their palletes were changed but when I changed Monty Mole's pallete and viewed it in the game, nothing was changed, I think I'm doing something wrong.

Schnauzer: If you're using Lunar Magic, go to the level editing mode, options, find "Use Joined GFX Files", and click that. When you extract/ insert the GFX it should come up in the Graphics folder. Hope that helps.

This is a pretty nice hack, I noticed that you disabled the level select code, also I noticed some other things. Part of the Sonic continue sprite when you get a continue from the special stage, its feet are missing. Also in GHZ act 3 when you go really fast up the tube pass the loop de loop with the 1up, part of the foreground gets messed up.

Does anybody know the addresses of the ending music when you save Peach from Bowser (credit roll), the scene with the Yoshies and "Thank You" message, and enemies roll?

EDIT:Also, is there an address for the sound effect made when the Big Boo Boss reappears?

Well, I just had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. It didn't hurt at first because they numbed the left side of my mouth but after they were done it did start to hurt and I couldn't hardly sleep last night. Another thing is that I have to have them all removed, they just removed the wisdom teeth on the left side. I have to go back to get the right side teeth removed. Has anybody else got their wisdom teeth removed? It isn't pretty after you have them removed.

Does anybody know how to fix the "classic pirahna plant"? I know that there's a patch at smw central but how would you exactly fix the enemy so it won't have a fish stem? I know this question sounds noobish but I would really like to know.

I've recently changed the Mario GFX but when I get on Yoshi and want him to stick his tongue out the hand from Mario still appears. As showned in the picture attached. Does anybody know what GFX page is that shows Mario's hand when on Yoshi?

I tried the Wii for the first time at an anime con, it was actually yesterday. They were playing Wii Sports' Tennis, it was sort of difficult at first because I didn't know how to move the character or swing the tennis racket but the characters moved automatically and how you swing your tennis racket was depended how you flicked your wrist w/ the controller. Overall, the Wii is pretty good and unique (I think Nintendo has always had uniqueness then other consoles.)

More screenies can be founs at my site (even though they're old.) Check out my profile to get to my site. Enjoy! BTW, if you see any glitches/mistakes or have any comments just let me know.

If I put this thread in the wrong section, forgive me.
Speaking of which, I just went to my first WWE RAW match which was in D.C. I'm sort of a hardcore WWE wrestling fan (watch it on TV if I can). It was actually awesome and better than watching it on the TV (of course). If WWE came back to D.C., I would like to go again.

Here are some new screenies in SMW hack Mario:The Quest on Quiet Island.

These are some levels that I finished in Bowser's HQ, also in this area (if you can find them.), you'll will see some messages that someone has made.(You'll definently find one in the Doomship area.)

Now, a bonus. I know most of you guys know that I tried to make EB hacks in the past and end up cancelling them, but this time's that crap is over!

Presenting, some screenies from "The Mysterious Mine"
I haven't made any changes to the overworld sprites though...

Tweaker, that was a pretty good video.
My only thing about your hack is that you switch the music in Misty Maze act 3 from Planet Undertow act 2 to act 1, PU act 1 music is okay but I like the act 2 music better. Keep up the good work! Also, the sound of when you get a Super Ring from the box sound it came from a mid-1980's arcade game.

Hello all,
Well, after long months, I'm finished with my SMW hack. It's called Mario:The Quest on Quiet Island. It has 8 worlds (54 levels). It can be found at my site.

http://toegames.sitesled.com/

Or at smw central when they upload it.

Story:
It has been six months since the princess has been missing. Mario has gone on a boat trip looking for her wherabouts; he discovers some islands and begins his search there.

Here are some screenies too.

I hope you guys enjoy this as much work that I've put into it.

Koitenshin, Does it work fine? I mean, I did make the hack from that rom you mentioned. So, it should work fine.

By the way, just to let you guys know, this is the first SMW hack that I ever finished. I did make SMW hacks in the past but they weren't like this one. (most of them were scrapped anyway.)
