I would make the backgrounds transparent, but I think they look good . I like the shading on the shyguy. The kirby is pretty cool too. I don't see much of a difference with luigi tho . The only shading I see is on his pants. |

You could always download Photoshop from some p2p ... .
I like them for only being MSPaint creations. If you have Irfanview, you could make the backgrounds transparent. I sware there is an MSPaint version that does transparancy...but I could be wrong . |

The mini moles (forgot the name) are rideable aren't they ? You could just copy their code for a 16x16 rideable sprite.
I wish I could help you more .
I think I know where your going with the 16x32 sprite . SMB2...?
Also, good luck and I hope you find the help you need. This sounds exciting. I like sprite editing  . |
