| I am 17, sort of an amateur when it comes to rom-hacking. I have tried to attempt making SMW hacks in the past, but they never work out.
1.What draws you to the ROM hacking community? Well, it's cool that you get to customize games anyway you want. 2. Do you think playing/modifying hacked ROMs should be more user friendly? With modifying hacks, their should be tutorials with the level editor for beginners who are interested in ROM editing (if there are, I'm sorry, I've just never seem them before). 3.What are the advantages/disadvantages of ROM hacking vs. ripped sprites with code written from scratch? Trying to change graphics for some games (Super Mario World basically). See, I use The Games Factory (a game making engine) and it's pretty easy to use to create graphics. I mean with NES games, it's easy to create graphics but with SNES games, it's a little difficult. 4. Do you think there are limits to what people should be allowed to do with their games? Not really, people can actually use their ideas as long people are attracted by the game and want to play as long as they understand what to do in the game. 5.What do you think about the future of the ROM hacking community? It's probably gonna be the same even though there might be more level editors for more games. I just hope that the more I try to attempt to create a hack, the more I would understand what to do. |

I mean, if its that bad, could some of you guys tell me what I did wrong? I don't mean to be a pain, but I really care of what I could have done better with things. I didn't want this hack to be super easy, I wanted it to be a little difficult but if it's way difficult, I'll just make a version three which the difficulty will be a little easier for players. |

| YD is okay. Just okay. Colin is nice. But that's his only admin trait. He rarely takes administrative action (lol close threads or lolban) and he is like a normal member. That's hard to act like when you're admin of this place I bet.
The best admin here is setz. He rocks the party that rocks the party. And everyone, even Xk himself, knows that.  (I got his old avatar!)

I was looking through some of my graphics etc. programs. I found one that can change and modify a picture to make it look pretty cool, it's called Microsoft Picture It! I touched up my new avatar with it. It does a pretty good job. Has anyone ever heard or used it? My avatar is not the best example, but I did use it to fog the edges, you can also modify the size and density of the fog, make it look old, black and white, etc. You can even manualy moves things and edit layers... I don't have a link to it, so, has anyone ever heard of it? [Side]: Also, what do you think of my new Signature, I ditched the rapist pic to make it look more like a forum layout. |

I have collected Megaman X sprites in the past. A section of my Megaman X6 zero sprites were accidentally cut. I wanted to redo these sprites to see what I could get. I used numerous graphics programs especially MSPaint. It was hard to do. I eventually got new ones and touched these up a bit... what do you guys think?

This might be late to be said but, Sion, I have no idea what the fuss is about... My guitarist is better by far. Most of my friends are about the same. And I am better if not the same.
