Do you mean anywhere in specific? Because if you mean the roof, that's still a work in progress, I'm just trying to get the "acts like" down first. And the pillars aren't exactly easy to shade, given the palette I'm using.

Dude...what was the point of this old thread of yours, then?

You have the basic idea down, but it needs a *LOT* of work. For example, on the ice level, some of the frozen water or whatever it is is screwed up.


Also, just by looking at the levels, you can tell that they will be far too difficult to be reasonable. The graphics will be tolerable if you fix them up a bit. You can keep the NES style, but some things you made just look ugly.

It's basically playing the acceptance card in your case. They basically can't dictate who you can/can't be together with, and even if they have to resent the fact that she's of a different race... they still have to accept it. That sounds like a horribly complex sentence, so I'll just sum it up... you make decisions about the friends you have and the girlfriend you want. Not them.
