The thing that bothers me, is how the stylus and the D-Pad "feel" so close to eachother. And it just seems hard to grip the DS like that ...

Guess I'll just have to try to and play around with it more often in that mode to get used to it.


Yeah. I find myself having to take breaks because my hand is not supporting the bottom of the DS on the left side more than actually holding more from the side or top, but I'll get used to I suppose.

Well, I finally got a chance to make a little demo. It's from 1-1 to 1-3. However, World 2 isn't ready yet. I just want to show you guys how far I got, tell me what ya'l think of it. Even though I haven't remodeled World 2, I did do some graphic editing for that world. Enjoy!

Yup, worked completely. I only tried it with an ABCD rom.

A release of a program will also help Super Mario 64 hacking quite a bit.
This program has been helping me to start Super Luigi 64, a hack I've been working on. I started it again today and I'm close to finishing (not including Mario's Geomerty).
Phinsfan, view that thread, there are a few little hacks, especially one with goombas outside the castle.

Well, yeah. The point I was trying to make was that nobody has done a full hack of it yet. Only ones that modify little things. Your Super Luigi 64 is going to be one of the bigger ones, but it's nothing compared to some of the potentially large hacks we could make of the game.
I understand your point, but we have enough info to make potentially huge hacks of Super Mario 64, it's just that none have been made. Mostly because the person that knows the most is busy working on the editor (VL-Tone).

It's normal. I used to be deathly afraid of Rip Van Fishes when I was little. It'll pass. They can't do much that any other enemy can do. Just think of them as flying parabeetles.

Yeah it's another one of those threads where you keep adding on. I did a nintendo story when I was on the Gamepro forums(long time ago) it was really funny. Keep it Nintendo!


It was a beautiful sunny day in the Mushroom Kingdom; Mario had just defeated Bowser the previous night, and was well refreshed. He got up and put on his "M" printed boxers. Finally things were better than ever. He scored with Peach who was in the bed still. Luigi was even more an outcast, and Yoshi was finally "less-recognized" because of the awesome heroics Mario pulled off. Yoshi was mad at Mario, and wanted to regain his popularity, and he was waiting outside with a gun, but Mario wasn't expecting him. Mario went outside to grab the Mushroom Gazette; when he did, he saw Yoshi and his colorful homies with assult rifles ready bust a cap in that mo'fo's head....
