| Am I going to be able to change the Status bar's colors to be different than the BG? Because I don't want to trash my hack beacuse of this stupid, aggrivating palette problem; I got good review from my demo, but status bar was a big issue for everyone, and I don't want that to be observed more than the rest of my hack. If there's any answers please give them to me, and I don't want to go to the help FAQ, because it don't help me as much as when some of you guys help me.
Or better yet, should I release this hack and say "Screw these freaking palettes, we all know where everything is!!" Please tell me what you guys would do in this situation of status bar issues. *Falls on knees with gun in hand put to his head* (edited by Skyon on 03-21-06 10:27 PM) |

| If somehow i could get the status bars to use the first color black and the second color white on the palette table; that would be fine, but when I open up the GFX for the status bar on YY-CHR I'm not able to change the color to something that is not a background pallette. | |||

| I think it's this age were living in more than anything; we've got so many people that believe different thing, yet everyone don't follow their standards; I'm a hardcore christian, but you can find me listening to music by disturbed, and evanesence.

| The church world does try to influence people's minds by speaking of moral issues, but I must ask what is wrong with that? It's good to try to advance America's mindset's to a more moral understanding; instead of the liberal chaos erupting all the time. I'm a hardcore conservative, and I stand against anything unatural or insane. I'm not trying to flame anybody here that's in a more liberal party, and I apologize for maybe sounding like that, but as far as church and politics go; maybe they shouldn't try to justify everything on their own thoughts, but they have good views on things, and that's what should be observed, not that their trying to "rule the world". | |||

| Here's my opinion on it, ready? Anything that messes up your body severely, or turns people's mindset upside down and ruins their life should be illegal, and it's sad that there is a lot of crazy stuff even now that is legal. People getting so attached that they sell anything to get their hands on it is wrong, How about if they had a child? That child is going to grow up around that crap, straight up. It's illegal for a reason, and it's sad how much legal stuff is out there now. That's my view on marijuana. |

| A lot of things can be done to transform SMW to look like SMB3; you just need to change the graphics in a graphic editor, and transform what items you see fit. I'm a semi-noob, so I'm kind of learning too. | |||

| You don't need to learn ASM totally; as long as you can make a bunch of levels with a lot of puzzles, and tricks to get around, it can be fun. I haven't done any ASM programming, but still everyone liked my level design, because I enriched beautiful pallettes in my hack, and I've made the levels fun, and changed them totally. I played your hack, and I was NOT impressed, but you can do fine if you keep trying, I did. I've done this for a while, and i still can not figure out that stinkin' OW editing, but I'm learning, you'll do fine if you really like doing it. (edited by Skyon on 03-22-06 11:55 AM) |
