I think the best solution is to go ahead and make the status bar all one color.

Where can I edit the fonts? I can't find them in my GFX folder; are they somewhere else? (Man, I'm acting kind of noobish today! There's just some things I never questioned when I should've )

I have a Great Idea for the Luigi v.s. Mario Hack.

O.K. First. The game should be like this. Pretend your mario, You die, then your guy switches to luigi. Then he dies and turns back. Eh, Pretty sweet.

Then at the end, Mario and Luigi find another Pipe and once they go up, There will be a sign that Reads"Luigi V.S Mario Rise of the Levels" I don't know if the Creator would wanna put that on. but it would be Incredible.

Then you should have stat points for players. Example.You can edit how fast they Run or jump Highet or even Fly time power... THAT WOULD BE AWSOME..
Heres a GIF screen how it should look.But use ya own GFX. not GIF.

And You should have "CLIMB" levels. you must climb before the lava catches up with you. The level is just straight up.

And there should be CHEAT CODES.

I started work on a system like that. It wasn't fun. Here's why.

Don't even try to say "Anything you can do in a 3D game can be done in a 2D game" because that's just not true. Getting from place to place is easy and fun in a traversable 3D climate like, say Bob-omb battlefield. That's true but there are ways around that. Of course the roaming feature could be canned; but do it like this: He said you would go in a pipe to activate an event; wel this part is simple really; Example: "Chain Chomp Star" in course 1. Make a 2d version of the path taken to get there, and then when it's time for 8 red coins, just fanagle all the areas with eight red coins to be brought in; it's quite doable really, you just got to be clever, that's all

I think an animated hurt block comes with block tool, rip the flame thrower GFX, and make the hurt block, hurt you when the flame appears.

Perhaps with proper use of ASM he could make a lot of levels with maybe six events; this doesn't have to be like SM64 where there are only 15 courses; then it probobly would be boring, but every event could be a whole different path or course(almost a whole level change) just put your mind outside the box and see the 3d picture of it then compress into several paths in 2D.

You've done a good job on level designing! It's fun; I didn't feel like turning it off the first two levels like I do with most hacks. Your Red Switch Palace was quite clever it was really neat. Only one thing I don't like, and that is simply the way the Koopa Sprites look, but everything else was cool, great job!
