| Megaman got around the NES's color limitations by means of layered sprites.
His body is three colors (light blue, dark blue, and black), and his face, which is a seperate sprite, is three colors (pink, white, and black). |

| Hmm. I think Danny's backpack could stand to be a little smaller and a lot less symmetrical square, but other than that, looks good enough. | |||

| You seem to be missing the point, Alice. He's switching back and forth between emulators so that he can trade Pokemon with himself.
And last I checked, VisualBoy Advance doesn't have gameboy link support. |

| You've clearly never made a map like this before. Or done anything remotely similar using graphic-editing software.
He spelled "missile" wrong once, then copied and pasted it 51 times. And most graphic-editing software doesn't have a built-in spell-checker. |

| The Mega Mole and the Dolphin look like they're in the middle of dying. Perhaps you should screw around with invincibility and see what happens when you kill them. | |||

| Just because a program has a 30-day trial period doesn't mean it actually stops working after 30 days.
See, for example: SmartFTP, WinZip, WinRAR, mIRC, and so forth. |

Red-names [userid] and sets title to "On probation for [reason]". Just a thought. |

| Desu is the Japanese verb meaning "to be".
Its popularity among desutards stems from the character SuiSeiSeki from the anime Rozen Maiden. From the little I've seen, she doesn't really say desu any more than anyone else. But then, chantard memes rarely make sense. |

| Final Fantasy took a nosedive after it went Sony anyways.
If you can find it, get Final Fantasy II (US title -- Final Fantasy IV in Japan) for SNES -- the GBA remake was a tad on the buggy side. The GBA remake of FF5 is also a good bet, as will FF6 when the US release comes out. I wouldn't bother with 1 and 2 unless you played them on the NES. And, while I enjoyed what I've played of 3, I never finished the original and have no DS with which to play the remake, so I can't really say. But, yeah. 4-6 are pretty much the peak of the series, and they are quite good. |

| The storylines have nothing in common, no.
And, Final Fantasy 2 US = Final Fantasy 4 Japan Final Fantasy 3 US = Final Fantasy 6 Japan All the other titles remained the same. And 4-6 are all for SNES, with GBA remakes. |

| How to explain..
I care about visual appeal, which does not necessarily mean high quality graphics. If a game has high quality graphics, but I don't like the style in which those graphics are presented, then I probably won't be interested. Similarly, if a game has lower quality graphics, but I do like the style, then I will be interested. But there's also a difference between a game's graphics being a 'lower quality' (such as games you might find on the NES), and said graphics being just plain bad. If a game has a good graphical style, but the graphics themselves are poorly done, then I will probably lose interest in short order. So basically, yes, I care about graphics. Just not because they're shiny. |

| Objection. Dokidoki has a valid meaning, and is not a stupid chantard meme haphazardly spawned from a stupider anime.
Also, Ten? Japanese doesn't have spaces. And, next time use unicode, not shift-JIS. (edited by Kailieann on 01-19-07 08:15 AM) |

The thing about verbal communication is, the way the female brain is wired, it actually makes women feel good. Talking causes a chemical reaction within the female body which produces pleasure endorphins. That being said, how much pleasure (or, perhaps comfort would be a better word) a woman gets out of such communication, how important that comfort is to her, and whether or not she's even aware of it on a conscious level, all depends on the individual. There are some women who probably couldn't get by without it, others who don't even register it at all, and some who avoid it because they don't want to register it. But whether a woman is aware of it or not, that chemical reaction is always there. The thing with most men is that, they don't really realize that that's how the female brain works, and so they don't realize how important it is for women. As such, they don't pay as much attention as they could, and women end up feeling neglected, as though the things that are important to them are trivial. Similarly, the thing with most women is that they don't realize that the male brain isn't wired that way. They don't understand that men don't really get anything substantial out of casual conversation, and so when men won't communicate with them, they tend to think there's something wrong, when really, the guy is just being a guy. So, yeah. Verbal communication is important to women. More to some than to others. And it helps both men and women if they understand why it's important to women and less important to men. Aaaaand, since I feel obligated to as a question.. Godzilla or King Kong? |

Originally posted by theclaw No offense or anything, but have you considered the possibility that you're just not good at the games? Also, the Final Fantasy Legend games weren't Final Fantasy games. The series was called "Makai Toushi SaGa". Square America changed the title so that people would buy them based off FF's popularity. The same goes for Final Fantasy Adventure, which was essentially Secret of Mana 0 (or Seiken Densetsu 1 if you prefer). |

| unicode stands for 'universal code', and it works on every decent browser, regardless of your encoding settings.
And yes, 才 is a valid kanji for age, and is far more common than 歳. And, windwaker: Nothing originates from 4chan /b/ As I said before, the 'desu' fad originated from the anime Rozen Maiden. It was then picked up by 2channel, and 4chan copied 2chan (as usual). |

| 2 and 3 would be fairly easy to piece together from existing blocks.
1 would require a bit of debugging, but shouldn't be that difficult. |

| hmmm... I did some debugging of Hotel Horror on an older version of the ROM.
It looks like the bug with the locks might be ZSNES-specific, it wouldn't happen at all in the debugger. I did notice, however, that the code for the locks was being executed twice when you had the key, as if it didn't realize you had the key the first time. Very strange.. |
