I spend the bulk of my free time on the internet, but it's not that I don't ever do anything else, it's just that I usually don't have anything else to do.

I'm sure a lot of people would think that I'm an "internet addict", but, if that were the case, there wouldn't be days where I just turn the computer off and go do something else.
*shrug* It's a tool, I take advantage of it as such.

I think they might be referring to how spam rarely gets past gmail's filters, Alice.

This month so far I have received 764 spam e-mails in the spam folder (which can be emptied with a few clicks, or ignored completely), and a whopping one spam e-mail that found its way into my inbox.

That covers a whole lot of people, you know.

I've only ever encountered two programs that required .NET at all, both of which didn't do anything that I couldn't do with other, .NET-less programs if I wanted to.

And in the end, I never found any use for the functions they preformed anyways.

.NET is simply a colossal waste of space for the average end-user.

And for programmers.. well, they should use open-source code that they're actually allowed to distribute with their program, or do it themselves.

Rockman II was one of the first video games I played, ever, so it wins my vote for nostalgia points. I never really played III until the emulation era.

My suggestion is to avoid mixing Microsoft products with Linux as often as possible.
You'd probably have much better luck with VMWare than with Virtual PC, as VMWare is designed to be compatible with as many different operating systems as possible.

I check the Amazon and Future Shop websites every day to see if, by some miracle, they happen to have one available (which they obviously don't).

Assuming I don't manage to land one that way, I'll get one once the christmas rush dies down.

In the meantime, I do have Twilight Princess and Trauma Center, and I ordered a Classic Controller yesterday.

Just have nothing to use them with.

Of course there are no 'save state loaded' messages in the hack. That would just be silly and pointless.

He means the 'save state loaded' messages that the emulator displays when you load a save state, namely the one that appears at 3:01 in the second trailer ("Loaded test23-11-06.005")

I've never met a Metroid game I didn't like (though I've met a couple I never got around to finishing). It gets my vote for all around coolness, although Mario is great fun.

Zelda, I've never cared for as a series. The NES games never really captured my interest, LttP and Awakening were okay, but Oracles and the N64 games just didn't do it for me.
I did, however, enjoy Minish Cap, and I'm having a good time with Wind Waker, which I just got the other day. Looking forward to Twilight Princess when I have a Wii to play it on, too.

As for Kirby, well. The games are fun, but I haven't really played many of them, and the ones I have played, I didn't play very much. I should fix that sometime.

Was that to me? If so, I already told you, I patched my ROM with the patch (I even put it in the same folder as my ROM, which I generally don't do!), and it didn't work. I think the problem is actually that the patch doesn't work.

It's no wonder the patch doesn't work--I forgot to insert a JSR to the new code! It's been broken ever since I released it!

Neil Gaiman was the god behind the creation of Mirrormask. I'd recommend seeing it, if you haven't already.

He also did the Sandman graphic novels, wrote the book 'American Gods', and the Babylon 5 episode "Day of the Dead" (one of the lesser alien races in B5, the Gaim, were named after him).

He's also got a whole lot more fantastic work under his belt, but if I wanted to list everything, I would've just copied the wikipedia article.
