SMAS graphics in SMW hacks have been done, several times.

Not that there's anything wrong with them in particular, but some people think they've been overused.

Still, SMAS graphic debate aside, this hack shows promise. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Uh.. you can do that in just about any decent hex editor, too.
I used mine to wipe out entire banks of my SMW ROM to see how LM would react. Takes about 5 seconds. Ten if you need to change a setting or two.

Yes, that would be the second boss. Which, see above, re: not getting to the first boss without a save point, and also re: the entire overworld being a save point.

Also, since you don't seem to be aware of this fact, MP3s are audio files.
Ripping audio from a game is one thing, but converting an ISO of a game into an audio file?

If you meant "ISO files and a bunch of MP3s", you should've said "ISO files and a bunch of MP3s". Most people read "a / b" as "a OR b", not "a AND b".

Also, the first of my results was, and I quote, "convert iso to bin, iso to bin converter, iso to bin cue file ...". There's not much more you'd need to look through.

I'm going to at least assume that all the games in question actually use CD audio tracks.

Shiva is tough. I don't think I've ever beaten her without a bit of luck manipulation.

But only because I'm too lazy to powerlevel that early, and don't want to just move forward and then come back later.

Although, it's not as if I ever cast Shiva, so I guess in theory I could just skip her entirely next time.

So, $00:007D is $7E:007D, $01:1DFB is $7E:1DFB, and $01:0DDA is $7E:0DDA
