| Okay
For those of you just tuning in, you replaced the tiles. Obviously they're going to look messed up if you didn't change anything in the overworld itself. As for extracting the palettes... no idea. You may have to copy them manually. Probably the easiest way to do this would be to open two LM windows, one with peter_ac's hack and the other with yours, then copy the colors from one window to another. |

| Looks like you did something to Level 104, either intentionally using it as a level or accidentally changing the graphics header.
Your best bet is to save an MWL of the original and load it into your rom. If using 104 was deliberate, you'll have to find an alternative. It would be so much easier if someone would just find a way to hack the ending sequence already. |

In the future, post DETAILS when you ask a question, even if it's one you already asked. The easiest way to do this would be to just use a different level. | Did SMB1 have clouds? I can't remember.
Either way, you should have clouds. |

| Well, apparently you can extract palletes from the LM main window.
As for the overworld itself, I accidentally stumbled across an easy way to do that. When you change roms, the OW editor doesn't update automatically, so all you have to do is load the original rom, open the OW editor, open the new rom, and click save.
There's a ROM address that can be changed somewhere in the Archive. Unfortunately that's the best I can do.
Click on the Cheep Cheep button (Edit Sprites List) Can't help with 3, sorry. (edited by Kailieann on 11-27-05 09:45 AM) |

| All I know is it has Mika Kanai in it. And that's good enough for me. | |||

| uhmm.....
It's a one-screen map, and the numbers start from 0, so yeah I'd say that's a pretty safe bet. Also, I'm assuming you have Lunar Magic, and the level number has been mentioned more than once in this thread. Next time consider the possibility of checking yourself. |

| Photoshop also costs more than a lot of people are willing to spend.
Photoshop is also only for professional graphic designers or people with tablets. Older versions of Paintshop Pro are much better for the average mouse-only person. |

| Well, presumably it's only happening on one submap, so there shouldn't be anything to delete anywhere else
But just go to layer 2 event mode, page up all the way to event 77 and see if the tiles are still popping up. If so, delete them. If not, then you forgot to erase your save game. You have to do that every time you change the overworld. Also, I googled "bowser submap thunder acmlm" and got this. I seem to recall telling you to check the archive in your previous thread. | Organization is always a problem with projects like this, and as for events..
Well, if you ever get the urge to try and work on it again, you could always make it a two-parter. |

Originally posted by Sukasa Yes, but the original problem was that I didn't know how to check how many sprites are left alive. It occurred to me to just check the all 12 sprite slots, but they're also used for non-enemies, and I figured instead of checking to see what each sprite was, it would be easier to just forcefully shove in the sprites I wanted. Boy, was I an idiot. But I'm thinking of putting project 0 on hold and opting for project -1 instead. Which will only work if I can figure out how to manually control Layer 2's position, since none of the auto-scroll commands are suitable for my purposes. (edited by Kailieann on 11-28-05 09:01 PM) |

| I prefer raw Japanese. If not, then subtitles (to which I will pay little attention). Then dubs.
I don't mind most dubs, but I prefer Japanese. English is such a stupid language. |

| It would be cool to have a table-maker with a GUI so you could preview the effects, but god knows that's not likely to happen. | |||

| Okay...
Blocktool doesn't have tilesets. Blocktool barely has a GUI. Blocks can't show up glitched in blocktool, because blocks don't show up in blocktool. Only descriptions of what they're supposed to do. |

| Then you're looking in the wrong graphics file. |
