Sometimes, when I grab something at work -- for example, a tray so I can get more muffins for the display case -- I will hold it triumphantly over my head for a few moments before resuming my work.

I didn't particularly care for it.
But then, I didn't particularly care for the original, either.

FFV is my favorite Final Fantasy series.

I'm still undecided about the remake, though. A lot of it has to do with the portraits that show up in each dialogue box and look nothing like the characters they're supposed to be.
I mean, the idea of having the portraits is good, but.. Galuf was never that damn skinny, and his hair isn't even remotely gray.
And Faris looks more like Kefka >.<

Sony is right on one count. Blu-Ray is the future of digital media, and thus, the future of video games.
I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo used Blu-Ray technology in their next console (you know, when the drives only cost about $50 instead of $200).

The part Sony doesn't seem to grasp with this concept is the fact that this is the PRESENT, not the FUTURE.

Slayed and Slew are both correct.

Alas, I have nothing else to add to the topic.

I'll admit, he was a tad overboard, but unless you're looking to get yourself banned as fast as possible, I'd apologize, and make that the last time you talk to an administrator like that.

You couldn't possibly be a tad more specific?

Because there's only one boss you can get to that early in the game (namely the first boss, who is not even remotely difficult), so I'm thinking..

If it wasn't the first boss, then somehow your game glitched and gave you a stronger monster than any you should be going up against, in which case you should re-download the ROM and try again
Or if it was the first boss, and you got pwned by it, then.. wow. You need more practice.

Also as in every FF game, the entire overworld is a giant save point.

Additionally, there really isn't anywhere 'unsafe' you can go that early in the game. Or anywhere at all that you're not supposed to, for that matter.

The only possibility I can think of is that you may have landed your ship on the stretch of land north of the canal, which I'll admit can be a little bit dangerous if you just started, but it would still only take you about four/five minutes to get back to that point.

Yes, I was going to mention that there's nothing specifically dangerous before Worus, but seeing as they never got that far, I figured they wouldn't have cared too much.

Sources disagree on exactly how much money Sony is losing per unit (and I haven't heard a value on how much Nintendo makes per unit)
But, assuming Sony loses $200 on every console it sells ($200 being the lowest figure I've heard), it's made back ~$173,710,000 out of ~$261,000,000 that it lost in producing the units, for a net loss of ~$87,290,000.
And that doesn't factor in the (admittedly few) PS3s that they haven't sold yet.
