hmm.. it sounds like a watered-down version of Kodomo no Omocha.

Not that Kodocha couldn't have done with a bit of watering-down.

I'll not go as far as to say I'm proud of the fact that I'm a 22-year-old virgin, but I am proud of the fact that I'm not ashamed of the fact that I'm a 22-year-old virgin.

I have a natural tendancy to look down upon people who hold a cavalier attitude towards sex, but I try not to let that cloud my judgement about a person, largely because one of my best friends fits that description pretty well.

Yes, it bothers me that she's like that. But I'm not going to toss her aside just because we don't see eye to eye on something that ultimately isn't that important.

100x100 is microscopic compared to some forums I've been to, and people can be far more hugely obscene with the layout feature provided here.

There's a reason LM won't work on ROMs that don't have a header.

Namely, most ROMs do.
Before the reset, FuSoYa flat-out refused to make LM compatible with headerless ROMs, simply because of the havoc that would be wrought when someone tried to apply a patch for a headerless ROM to a headered ROM or vice-versa.
case in point.

And while I understand why some people aren't overly fond of headers, they still exist on about 99% of all distributed ROMs. So unless you plan on devising a new patching format that will work regardless of whether or not the ROM has a header and crossing your fingers in the hope that it will become the new standard for ROM patches everywhere, just -- as MathOnNapkins suggested -- use a hex editor to insert x200 bytes at the head of the ROM and be done with it.

2C+AA/58*2FF is 32B using proper order of operations, or 5FE using straight arithmetic.

And Dr. Mario World didn't have any lava, and it worked just fine.

Evangelion is by Gainax, which should tell you everything you need to know about it.

But in case you're not familiar with Gainax's works, here's a quick run-down:

The show starts off great. Keeps going great. Still keeps going great.
And then the ending is utter crap.

Toastyfrog's Thumbnail Theater renditions of the last two episodes pretty much sums everything up.

There's also the movie, End of Evangelion, which is equally useless.

That aside, dark anime?
Hell Girl comes to mind, as does Angel Sanctuary.
Though AS didn't hold my interest, and while Hell Girl was good enough to keep me watching, the first several episodes are completely formulaic and it's not until around episode 8 or 9 that there's actually any plot development.

That's the best I have to offer.

That's actually a running gag from my old comics, but I guess I can't expect first-time readers to know that when all the old comics are down.

Oh well, recoding the archives from scratch should only take a few minutes.
