| What bugs me about it...is not so much the the other tracks (read: Airship Fortress) aren't in...but SNES Donut Plains 1 and SNES Koopa Beach 2 somehow didn't make the cut either. Otherwise, it totally rocks. And I've been enjoying the onlineness for...oh...about 12 hours now. Heh.
Anyway, friend code be in the sig, but if you can't see it for some unknown reason, it's 150.383.708.976 |

| ...I can say right now...that I'm just gonna feel really guilty about attacking any of the enemies after seeing the sprites, as cute as they are. Though, I still look forward to playing this, as I can tell it's gonna be good. Keep it up! | |||

| I've actually had quite good luck with my two main characters, Luigi and Yoshi, in the Dry Bomber. Even though Luigi's technically a medium-class character, his stats don't really differ much from Dry Bones with it, as with Yoshi. Of course, I've always had the best luck with the light-class characters. I can never seem to get the heavy-class to go just the way I want them to most of the time. | |||

| *Nod* It does get annoying. Especially considering they're currently my best characters. I feel obligated to choose someone else if someone gets one of them.
Later on, I'm gonna work Luigi out, and work Dry Bones into my spot of Regulars. Luigi hasn't been working so well for me as of late. |

| Well, somewhat. It's actually based off a template I found at a different forum I go to, the MFGG (Mario Fan Games Galaxy) forum (http://mfgg.taloncrossing.com/). Although it differs from the standard style, as I used a different numbering style (specifically, an early rip of the MarioKart DS timer numbers) for the friend code, and the Super Mario 64 alphabet for the MarioKart DS title. | I have to agree with Stifu. Those clouds seem more like the kind of special cloud formations you see at the very top of the stage when you fly up high in SMB3. It doesn't seem to look right like this, unless you have a cloud stage or something to go along with it. Or a special stage.
Definately classic clouds for normal-style stages like your screens. |

| Hm...now THAT is an intriguing idea...having clouds with powerups inside...I suppose if you keep the style consistent, it could work...although some levels with normal clouds would be good, too. | |||

| And now, so that way people can steal my fruit, and buy out everything I have at Nook's, I shall add my Town info to this list:

Originally posted by Sgraff87 My only question is, how will you get this to work in left-scrolling stages (stages where, instead of moving towards the right side of the screen, you move towards the left)? Awesome sprite, btw. ![]() |

| My highest (and the tourney winner) was a 46.7 inch sea bass...although I was hoping for a tuna, since they average on 90+ in. Oh well. I still got my trophy...and tons of junk just for continuing to fish until I got one that big. | |||

Originally posted by Ghost of Christmas Past I'll agree there. Though I myself HAVE been on the receiving end of that...but I have my own way of making that fun. Oftentimes, if it's against rivals, or other people I don't know, I just try and be a pest and beat 'em down with red shells and stuff, but most of the time? I just race backwards. It's fun to race backwards. ![]() |

It's been a while for me, and I notice that I never got around to commenting on this. Anyway, so far, this is looking really good, although I feel the OW palette could use some darnkening. The colors appear to be the much brighter GBA-style coloring than the more conservate, easier to look at colors formatted for a TV, or in this case, a monitor. The only other thing I have to mention, is this:

Originally posted by Bio While I agree with Bio on this fact, that would make the cannons too similar to the Bullet Bill launchers already in the game, making it rather redunant in most cases. No, what WOULD work, is a sprite that acts similar to the Kirby enemy Shotzo: a cannon that fires based not only on where Mario is relative to the X plane of the cannon, but also to the Y. Meaning, if Mario is to the left of the cannon, it'll fire towards him on the left...but if he's diagonal of the cannon, it'll shoot diagonally. And so on and so forth. But that's just my opinion. |
