| Dr. is also the abbreviation for "drive," but it's not really helping me. Double drive? Drive by doctor? Does it help anyone else?

| I do have a folder called "Old Stuff" but there is not much in it because I never get around to putting things there. I generally download things to my desktop so I can find them easily, and when my desktop gets too full, shove it all into My Documents. I organize some stuff into folders every once in a while, but generally My Documents is pretty messy. I also have quite a few folders named New Folder, New Folder (2), New Folder (3), etc. laying around my computer.

I've been waiting for this. I doubt I will apply for approval because I know virtually nothing about ROM hacking, but I do check the forum regularly. | I will admit up front that I know next to nothing about ROM hacking. However, I do wish to be able to comment on other people's hacks and make suggestions as to what is good and what could be improved. I will not flame, etc. or make meaningless posts. I have also read many of the the ROM hacking threads and will try and help others with what little knowledge I have.
Incidentally, I also know what the Shift key is used for and what those little red underlines in lololol mean as I'm typing! This knowledge alone proves that I have at least a few working brain cells.  (edited by BooUrns on 10-22-06 12:04 AM) |

| I, too, am tired of hacks where you have to press the savestate button every 30 seconds, so I applaud you intentions in making this hack. Overall, Demo 1 is pretty good. One thing I would suggest for Demo 2 (besides the changes you already have listed) is changing the text in the information boxes. Lunar Magic can do it easily, and players won't want to read the same text from the original game telling you what a midpoint is. | So far, looking good. I like this hack because I can actually play it without using savestates. Mario does change color for me when he gets a flower, although the orange looks very similar to the normal red color so it is hard to tell. So far, I've only found 2 problems:
1. Mario's head gets chopped off in the first castle on certain parts of the fence (only if he is on the other side). See attachment. 2. The midpoint goal on Mud Mountain 1 is not working for me. I start back at the beginning of the level even after passing through the midpoint. Unless that's what's supposed to happen

I've been using the betas/RCs for a while now and I am very impressed with how it's turned out. It has everything I could ever want in a browser, plus all the useful add-ons that you can't get in IE. I'm looking forward to more add-ons compatible with 2.0, especially skins because I don't really like the new navigation buttons. Why does Microsoft make you use IE when you download some things from their site? 'Cause if they didn't, I would remove IE completely.
So if you don't have it, get it! |

| I do have a cell phone for emergencies but I barely ever use it. I'm on the 60-minutes-per-month plan (I'm cheap) but it is rare that I use more than 20. I don't like talking on the phone period, mobile or not. | |||
