ok i found a zip folder with the file in it,when i do open rom it gets a error saying "The ROM does not have a 0x200 byte header!"

What are you using to burn it to a CD? I don't know anything about the built-in Windows CD burner, but I imagine it doesn't do the kind of things that you'd want. You can't just have the .iso file sitting on the CD, you need to get the contents of that .iso file onto the CD like how the .iso reads.

Also, I don't know that much about PCSX, but I use ePSXe and using that you don't have to run games from a CD. You can just load the .iso and it will read it like the game CD.
