Gross Man does suck. I understand that their defense played badly, but they still had a chance at the end of the game, and he threw up an idiotic pass that he telegraphed all the way, ending a potential drive right there. He also had those stupid fumbles on snaps from center... do it once, big deal. Do it twice and run backwards, costing your team 11 yards? Shame on him. I would take a handful of real rookies over him, and he's had time to study all he wants, fact is, he's just an airhead who had a few good games by throwing deep and garnering huge leads off defensive and special teams scores. When it comes to sitting back and throwing checkdowns and managing a real game, he can't cut it, especially not when it requires actual thought and reads of the defense. Maybe later he'll be good, but right now, he sucks.

Originally posted by MathOnNapkinsAmen to that, I actually wasted a chunk of money on Chronicles when it came out, played through it (somehow), but decided emulation was, uh, a lot more intelligent of a way to play Chrono Trigger. V and VI, on Anthology, never had as much of a problem in my opinion. I only have one set of PSX ISOs on my computer... they're from Final Fantasy IX, a game I hated from the beginning and I haven't bothered deleting... so ePSXe pretty much rots away on my C: drive. |

Isiah Thomas sucks as a coach, Starbury is a prima donna, they have about 4 overpayed guys that all play the same position, and their owner, James Dolan, is an idiot. The Knicks suck. Game aver.

Originally posted by ToxicThat's because they know he's limited as a quarterback, and throwing the ball deep to Berrian is about the extent of his abilities. I agree that their gameplans suck in general, probably thanks to Ron Turner... but Gross Man still lost them a chance at winning that game at the end... and it is reasonable to say he played a large part in the sluggish play of the offense during the entire game. I admit that I have something against the Bears as a whole, but as a fan, I watched this guy play and I believe he was a detriment to that team for most of the season (even when Bears fans and media were slurping him.) |

Great, young, all-around centers don't come along as often as talented swingmen and are therefore less replaceable via free agency or later drafts. I think Durant is the better talent, but Oden's size and playing position as well as his defensive game-changing ability and room for growth give him the slight edge.

That Lavos battle in the Ocean Palace is definitely scripted with the idea being, on your first time through at least, you get annihilated. It takes, as said before, really high levels and status protection to even come close to defeating it. Since you haven't seen the whole ending of the game yet, try dying at that part and continue on from there.

Originally posted by Xeo BelmontYeah, but they're only tough up until you devise a strategy for beating them. Lucca's Mega Bomb + Taban Vest + Red Mail + Red Vest equipped on characters makes it easy, and you get healed almost every time they hit you with their fire magic. Plus, if you time it right, you can get in a few regular hits, like Crono's Confuse, right before using the fire magic, so that the Twins don't revert to bashing you with 1/2 HP attacks and such. By the way, beating Lavos at the Ocean Palace earns the best ending in the game, if you ever think about doing that, theclaw. The other way to get the same ending is to use the telepod to beat him in New Game+. |

Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum. I'm the only person here who really exists, you're all fooling yourselves. This thread is just an elaborate scheme by my imagination to make me think that other people exist... well guess what? It's not gonna work. |
