CB Darrent Williams was shot and killed in a drive-by incident in his limousine early today. He was developing into a good corner there in Denver, too. No motive yet, but I'm sure there's more to this. Anyhow, here's the story and also, R.I.P.

Well, this just has to be close to perfect with as much time as I wasted on it. Anyhow, please tell me about any bugs (I've checked it out at a few resolutions and in a few browsers).Originally posted by The QuoteeAlso, Test Linky Test (edited by Dr_Death16 on 01-01-07 05:25 PM) |

Wow, Pat White really is something. |

I voted "Yes" because when I consider the possibility of a separate forum rationally, it is clear that, as you've said Hiryuu, there's nothing to lose. Might as well give it a shot; who knows what may come of it? Just because a few people assume with their presumably omniscient knowledge of our board population that the forum would not work does not mean they couldn't be very, very wrong. Pessimism doesn't accomplish anything in this world, and our board is no different. (edited by Dr_Death16 on 01-01-07 09:28 PM) |

Originally posted by NSNickI watched that Wisconsin - Arkansas game; it wasn't even close. Wisconsin was so much more physical... and when they decided to stop the run, they were able to bottle up McFadden (but not Felix Jones) and their "Wildcat" formation was nigh-useless. I, frankly, expected more from the 'Hogs, but I knew Casey Dick wasn't going to help them put up points, and Mitch Mustain is still clearly too young to lead that team. Then again, you also have to question Houston Nutt's gameplan, because they were not able to really drive on that Wisconsin defense at all, and Marcus Monk rarely saw the ball. |

Originally posted by setzI didn't really think it was funny at all, actually. I know a lot of assholes, and typically, it is very far from the kind of thing they would think is humorous either. I think you have your personality descriptor terms confused, there. The whole situation is a sickening bit of evidence which shows just how powerful of a combination the media and negligent parenting can be. |

Originally posted by setzPerhaps it is not necessary to respond to this, as it is almost self-explanatory, but yet, you make no sense. Humor is not based on, as you say, "something you're used to". Humor usually has a base in surprise and things which are not expected. Therefore, if as you claim, you're so desensitized to death that it is only to be expected, then there should be no humor in it; it should not evoke any emotion in you. Taking humor in something which you think is commonplace is contradictory. Nonetheless, whatever your motivation and thought processes, that's your entitlement. I just wanted to point out that I don't know any people who take humor in the demise of innocent children. |

Originally posted by setzYou're very wrong. Very. Why do parents exist, setz? To care for children. And not just to feed the children because they cannot generate their own food; parents teach kids the difference between right and wrong, good behavior and misconduct, etc., etc. If your hypothesis is correct, why do parents even keep kids around until ~18 years old? Hell, they should just kick kids out at 9 years old, and whatever they don't know, I'm sure they'll get by. After all, they're completely responsible for their behavior and can make completely rational decisions, right? You didn't know shit when you were nine, and you probably would've done the same exact thing if you grew up as these children did, and in their situations. Same as the rest of us. |

Originally posted by typololI was exaggerating. I used sarcasm. I thought you'd pick that up. 18 isn't the do-all, end-all age in any way; different situations warrant different results, but I think 9 might be a little too god damn early to be responsible for one's own actions. They way you speak of the subject, it is almost as if you believe these children deserved to die. Oh well, good luck with that. |

Originally posted by XkeeperI think that's huge. If you really don't mind the work, and it wouldn't bother you to close it if it doesn't work, then there's nothing wrong with the idea. Every response to the contrary either cites 1. Extra work that you'd have or 2. Some kind of assumption that it will fail, both of which are pretty much invalid reasons now. Again, to those against, just because YOU think it'll fail, and you've seen things to indicate it will, doesn't mean it won't work here. And it certainly won't work if it is never given a chance. The poll isn't about "Do you think the new forum would fail? Y/N" it's "Should we try this new forum out?" which I have yet to see a good "No" reason for. |

Those Elmo toys are so damn annoying, watching one burn is righteous. The bottom one is still almost fully working even after being torn apart and while being burned, heh.
