Just tell her you aren't interested in dating her, you'd rather just be friends. Lying is no way to go about it.  Just try to be nice about it, don't break her heart. I don't know how much she likes you or anything. |

| Heh, my manager was talking to me about this at work a few hours ago.
She hires a lot of teenagers, because of the type of job it is, and she has to deal with the "flakyness" of teenagers in this generation. How they don't show up for work on Saturday night because their friend was having a killer party, and how she overhears them talking about how many girls they've "banged" when it's a slow night. It's a huge generalization to say that this entire generation is like that, but it's not completely untrue. It's a sort of evolution, so to speak. How Elvis was looked down on, and then to top Elvis, out comes Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys, and to top them is this new HUGE explosion of rap and punk. Well, the whole view of sex in society becomes more and more lax as time goes by. At first, a divorce was practically a sin. Then it sort of became accepted. And now if you hear of a family with parents that aren't divorced, you're applauded. The whole view of sex has changed as well. It's not necessarily bad, it just depends on how you view it. Personally, I agree that it's gotten out of hand, there are 13 year olds having sex and bragging about it. God, a large number of girls don't even start menstruation by that age. But they somehow think they're mature enough to have sex. I do agree that it's largely due to the media today, encouraging it and making it seem like the ultimate in life. But I've done a damn good job of keeping myself out of it, and I don't have to worry about any of that, so I don't lose sleep on it. I completely agree with the phrase "live life to the fullest" but I do not at all feel that you have to have sex a bunch of times to do that. That isn't what life is all about. |

| It never snows here. I've been in snow only 2 or 3 times in my life... once when I was too little to enjoy it, and only got pelted -continually- with snowballs by my brother. It sort of snowed a little bit when I went to Washington 2 years ago, but... it was like a sprinkle.
When I went up there this past Thanksgiving, it snowed about 6 inches, and I really enjoyed that. But I do really really love rain, I'd be happy with either one. |
