Sonic: I have no idea!  I have an inkling that it had to do with YD, I was a newbie that had CONNECTIONS. So I got to meet all the awesome people, and everyone was nice (almost everyone, at least) because I was YD's pal.
Then I got promoted to staff, got some respect, and became a huge poster... and here I am! I'd like to say it's because I'm charming and nice and all that wonderful stuff, but I don't really know if that's true D:
