| Well, most of the inactive members are rom hackers that come here to ask a question, and never visit again once they get an answer.
We usually have more than 300, though. Today was just... a slow day. At least there's some excitement for the #2 slot, right? |

| Because it's hard to remember at times that you should THINK before taking an action. Most people act compulsively, that's just how people are. Speeding ahead in a merging lane makes people feel like they're getting ahead, without actually THINKING that it's going to do nothing but further slow down the traffic.
And, well, when it comes to thinking and alcohol, the two don't go hand in hand very often. |

You don't need alcohol to stimulate yourself, though, just like you don't need caffeine to do that either. While alcohol may have stronger effects on a person, it still isn't a worthy excuse. People don't get drunk as a replacement of caffeine.  |

| All the cities here are changing the laws to make fireworks illegal, and if you are caught with them, it's a $1000 fine. I used to have a bunch of illegals that my cousin would buy in Nevada, but now he's too scared about getting caught. It will be a bland 4th of July.
Only story I know of is... a few of my friends (not me, I'm a goody two shoes) threw firecrackers at a neighbor's truck one year... they ended up actually putting holes in the truck, and then there was mad panic that one got into the gas tank, so they sprayed the car down with a hose for an hour or so. I was told all this the next day, as they showed me the damage to the car. Course, I don't think the owner cared or even noticed, they never got in trouble for it.  |
