| But see, I need to make sure the people only make changes like that on their turn, because I don't want to risk losing track of it all. So I guess... I'll go a few more times around the board not stopping, and once more property is bought and such, I'll stop after every turn.

After I saw that site, I immediately closed it. I'm not going to suffer through that to look at comics.  He could post a few at a time, and if they're well liked, I'm sure we could work out a way to view them easier.
But this is not the way.  |

| Let me first say that this is a laptop, about two years old and in great condition.
My problem is that, if my computer idles for longer than, I'd say an hour and a half, maybe two hours... it just turns off. My power settings are set to "never turn off" so that's not the problem, and overheating shouldn't be an issue either... when I try to leave it on overnight, all I have running is a torrent that I want to finish downloading. And it's at night... so summer heat shouldn't have anything to do with it. This has never been a problem in the past, because like I said, I don't usually need my computer on when I sleep, so I turn it off. Does anyone know what's causing this? It's very frustrating to not be able to walk away from my computer for a few hours without it turning off on me. And while I'm on the topic...
Videora ipod convertor ALWAYS causes my system to turn off. It doesn't give me a warning, it just blacks out my screen before the converted file is even finished. I've looked on videora's site, googled for answers, asked around... nobody knows why it forces my comp to just shut off like that. Any possible causes and/or solutions? I appreciate any help.

| I'm thinking I'll get my dad a couple free trips to the driving range, or maybe a free round of golf at his favorite course.

| It doesn't turn off when I'm using it unless I run videora, but I don't think the two problems are connected. The only time it turns off is when I idle for a long time, like overnight.
It has never turned off on me when I'm on it during the day doing my usual things, like AIM or board browsing or photoshop fun. Nothing unusual when I shut it off, it turns off the way it always has. As for automatic reboot on crash and event log, I have no clue what or where those are. |
