Usually, the finals here average out to about 7-8% of the final grade.

But some teachers just go overboard, like my math teacher.... 15% of your final grade is the final. NOT COOL. Now I really really really have to study.

It's the only class I can't ace, and it drives me crazy. Right now I'm at a B- and... I really don't see how it's not going to drop with the final.

I saw the exciting part of the Aussie/Japan game this morning, and holy crap that was crazy.  3 goals in what, 10 minutes? I was definitely not expecting that.
I don't really watch soccer, mostly because it's not in high demand here and I don't get the extra channels that do play it... but it's always fun to see talented people playing. It's an exciting sport, though I'd have disagreed if you asked me that after playing a game when I was younger.

The Aussie/Japan game was spectacular. Though I really don't follow soccer, I went through the line-up and picked the teams I'd be rooting for in the games. I was rooting for Australia, and those 3 goals in less than 10 minutes were AMAZING. |
I've never seen anything like that, it's not even like Japan was letting up... they were just on fire.
That game alone makes me want to follow the world cup much more than I planned to.

Yeah... I don't care at this point. Wii or Revolution, it's the same system, and wii isn't as bad as I originally made it out to be.

Nah, as long as I don't get a D or lower, which I know I won't. And considering math is my only class that isn't an A, they can stuff it. Pre-calculus is hard for a non-math person. >8( |

Yeah I watched it live, school starts at 7 and we had a party today in my morning class, so we were all there even earlier to eat |
So about 6:45-the end of the game we watched it. Tomorrow I'm gonna see if I can tape the games, so that I can watch them once finals are over this week. Then hopefully this thread will still be going and you all won't hate me for posting about games a little late.
