| I checked no, probably because it's been a long day and I'm in a bad mood.
I'm in school with classes that are mostly above average for juniors, I have a job, I'm in a club that I dedicate time to, both at school and outside school, I take a morning class that starts at 7 am just to make sure I have enough time after school to do my homework, I babysit my nephews every other Saturday all day long for my sister, I occasionally cook for my mom, blahblahbalh. I wish I could sleep more. However, whatever time I do have, I spend it here. And 99% of the time, I'm posting here and doing something else at the same time. |

| Okay, I want to say something for everyone bitching about respect.
There are good members at this board, and there are bad ones. Bad members don't get the same amount of respect, and for a good reason. Sure, there's the respect in which they're allowed to post, be given warnings rather than immediate ban, and are generally "tolerated"... but if you aren't a good member, what do you think you're going to get? If you get on everyone's nerves, cause drama, create pointless thread after pointless thread, spam, flame, and allaround bug people, do you think you're going to get the same respect as, say, Tarale? So stop acting like twits around here, and you won't be treated like twits. It's not that difficult folks. Shyguy, you're acting like a twit. Knock it off. |

I've been trying to figure out how to respond to this for a while.

I can empathize with you a bit. My family isn't together either, I was sent to counseling when I was younger to "deal with it" (the counselor also told my parents everything I said), and one of my parents have remarried (well, practically...). All I can tell you is that you have to accept things and move on with life. Sure, nobody likes having a family that isn't happy and together... it makes it seem like less of a family. But everything happens for a reason, you know? Not all marriages can work out, no matter how bad you want it, and attempting to kill your stepmom isn't going to solve anything. Sure, she's in the way of having a happy family again. But... do you honestly think that if she were gone, your family would be together again? Just let it sink in, let yourself come to terms with it, make peace with it. Move on. Life is what you make of it, and there is nothing that says a "normal" family is the only one you can be happy with. Try being more optimistic. And good luck with everything.
