| "Heh, odd manga..." ForteZero was reading an odd manga he found at some pawn shop in Sim-Battle City. It was a "Rockman Zero" manga, with a huge diffference, it's like Kirby and Mortal Kombat on crack. The Zero character is a sissy, but oddly becomes tough and powerful when brought with a tough challenge, has a human friend who's shorter than IceMan, a human who's the sister of Ciel named Cial... the "e" switched with "a" is ruler of Neo Arcadia. Dr. Ciel herself is tough and can kick ass pretty good and still Resistance Leader, her Cyber-Elf Passy doesn't die for some reason and fuses with Zero so his battle side can exist for as long as it can. Pantheon reploids speek Star Wars drone style, Harpuia's a smart arrogant bastard with a weird smile when in battle, this manga's Leviathan think's she's too good for anybody else and thinks she's better than anyone else, Phantom is a Naruto wanna-be when it comes with talking otherwise is like any other ninja assassin, and Fefnir is just as much of a bastard than he is in his world or in the other world. When the four combine they transform into Omega X wired on caffine and crack.
"Really friggin odd..." He sweatdropped, not bothering to take notice of whoever created this manga must of been high when arting it up, "I need to show Levi-chan this when she kicks that bitch's ass and sends her whining back to her world. If I'm right, win or lose, they'll probably send their world's Phantom at us..." He was impressed. One of the many ways to avoid a deadly attack, become Invisible. o o o "Damn... I can't believe they have already stolen the data. They knew we would focus on protecting on one progrma so they confused us by stealing all three at once. Now there's nothing stopping them from opening the Gate." "Sir, update fully installed, and the computers are back online. Shall I contact ForteZero and Leviathan?" "Yes Rouge. Contact them and call them back to base, because we need to prepare for when the Organization decides to crack the Gate open." "Yes sir." o o o Beep beep. Beep beep. Beep beep. ForteZero walked over to the Ride Chaser of Leviathan's and pressed the button. "Yes?" "ForteZero. David has requested for you and Leviathan to return back to base. It appears that the Organization played their hand and stolen the three data programs in one sweep instead of seperately." "WHAT!? I'm on my way!" Disconnecting, he growled as he donned his armor and forced his hand now, diving into the lake and swam next to his girlfriend. "Leviathan! We have trouble!" "What? What's wrong?" She asked her boyfriend, now ignoring Z. Leviathan, who can hear their conversation. "Rouge contacted me earlier. David needs us back because all three programs of Omega's data was stolen from under our noses." "Oh no. With the seven programs and Omega's three Data Programs, they can find the hidden Gate and crack it open." "Yes. The situation has gotten much grim now, and if I'm right, they're going to force a new hand against us much sooner..." Leviathan looked at her oversized opponent, before looking back at her boyfriend. "You're right. Preventing Omega from being revived is a much higher priority than kicking this bitch's overgrown ass." He nodded and grabbed hold of her before using the Escape Unit, teleporting away and bypassing any field locks set-up. Their other stuff also teleported away; the Ride Chasers, the Neko Met, their picnic things and other stuff they brought. Z. Leviathan was left alone, with information of the possible upcoming war that the Organization is planning to make a reality in this world, a war that she and the others can not interfere with. To Z. Leviathan, it looks like an excuse to retreat, but it wasn't. With the possible threat of Omega's revival a possible reality, the Maverick Hunters have shifted their attention with helping the Net Saviors, Officials, and Red Alert to stop the evil terrorists from bringing forth the destructive force the cyberworld has never seen before. But what nobody knew, is that it was too late to prevent a nightmare from becomming reality, a nightmare much worse than Return X, worse than the threat of Zekt killing the Hunters, worse than even the Bastard who never dies himself... |

ForteZero teleported back and glanced at Z. Leviathan. "If you and your friends wern't interested in killing us, I'd ask for your help with preventing Omega from returning, but then again if we did you'd backstab us and kill us and my other friends here and in Electopia, Ammeroupe, and Sharro afterwards." Flipping the bird at the overgrown submarine, off he went again back to HQ. As always, when the unexpected happens, he has to file a report, so now the others will know of their unnessecary enemies crossing to their world now via inter-dimensional travel. |

| The kunai did nothing, and in fact he was not familiar with whom he tried to scare, because he was right behind him. If Phantom spun around to look, he would noticed that he had ran into one of the Organization Navis named IllusionMan.
IllusionMan was a Navi of a relative tall height, five feet or so. He wore a dark grey bodysuit was glowing blue lines running down the sides and his front from either side of his chest to his legs. Silver bracers covered his forearms and his hands were equipped with silver clawed gauntlets. His boots were also silver with the ends beyond the toes pointing upward, making them lethal weapons for kicking. Grey armor covered his torso and shoulders. His face was covered by a gas mask while white bandages completely covered the rest of his head save for his right eye, which glowed bright orange. Attached to the back of his armor was a pair of skeletal metallic wings which under the glow of the moonlight gave him a deadly apperance. IllusionMan merely looked at him with a single-eyed glare, one which showed Phantom that he is one who is unafraid of the deadliness that was radiating off his aura. In fact, he actually pitied the reploid, even though to him, looked like a Navi with a hidden Navi Icon. His glowing orange eye was piercing down into Phantom's own eyes... before he slowly turned into a pitch black mist, echoing these words to Phantom in his mechanical raspy voice before he truly vanished from sight. "Obi-Wan Kenobi once said "Your eyes can deceive you. Don't trust them." ... How can we tell what is truly reality and what is simply fantasy? ... What is there that we can truly believe? ...What is the truth? ...Is any of it real or is this all just an elaborate illusion?" o o o On past events: At the stroke of midnight after New Years came, Alia suddenly had contractions and her water broke. The entire base was in a stir as they helped the woman to the hospital area of the base, where minutes later, she and David, along with the main Hunters welcomed to the world their newborn child, Rebecca. Netto and company were notified of the great news the day after Rebecca was born. Other than that, all three data programs were stolen, and The Gate was cracked open, unleashing the monster Omega back into the cyber world, and under control of the Organization's leader. Everything was getting worse than it had gotten better. Today the base was put on high alert status. With Omega now in possession of the Organization, all official brands (Officials, Net Saviors, Red Alert, Maverick Hunter HQ) were alerted and on stand-by incase there is an attack by the Organization. Alia cursed the thought of having a child when there could be a possible war happening, but it's already too late, and she is still happy she and David are going to raise a small family. o o o It may be daytime somewhat in Ajjina, but in Sim-Battle City was a different story. It was mere minutes after Phantom's encountr with IllusionMan that they had left the Cafe that was finally closing up. "Sheesh, I can't believe all that people tossing you cash for listening to you play your sax." Zero chuckled at the green-haired ninja and their card-playing bounty hunter, holding a carrying case which held his saxaphone within. "It's great isn't it? You two said I wasn't able to play such an instrument, but I fucking proved you two WRONG!" "We get it Zero. Still, I highly doubted you would be a fan of Jazz," Spider said. The blond Navi grinned. "Heh, that's how much you don't know me Spider." After awhile, Zero and Spider had returned back to base, but Marino remained behind. | She hopped up the tall building before landing on its roof, looking around. She frowned.
"Better use it then..." She went through her files, before selecting one of her cross modes and undergone a quick transformation. Her armor changed to navy-blue and light purple armor with a mask now covering her face which was part of her altered helmet resembling Phantom's, with a red scarf around her neck, a Katana strapped to her back, and two katar-like weapons on her arms. The purple boots reached up to her knees with protective pink and dark blue anklets and bracelets that served for armor around certain areas, and the bodysuit a crimson purple color. She was in Phantom Cross mode. And immediatly, she senses the trap on the next building. She took imediate notice before running across the roof but instead of leaping over, she dropped back down into the alleys, and began tracking down the energy signature now clear and present to her. If Phantom himself was hiding himself using the shadows, it won't do much good for him, he was already discovered. |

| Her katar weapons glowed, and she fired offf kunai, all that struck the discs and rendered them useless before Phantom could spring the trap. She wall jumped between the two buildings, landed on the roof and forming her energy shurken sped forward on it before zooming past the reploid and lands a feet away from him in front.
She raised a finger and tsk tsk tsk'd him, spinning around on her heels and smirking. o o o "What the hell is going on!?" cried out the leader of the Organization. He was doing important tests when "Omega" suddenly exploded. All that remained were two balls of light. The first was a female Navi dressed in white armor with a large white headdress with two flags adorning the sides and waist-length bluish-white hair coming out from underneath. In her right hand was a cerulean staff topped with a pair of golden wings. The second was a male Navi wearing dark purple armor. The front of his helmet was designed like a skull with a single tall red horn protruding upward and a teal-colored cap hung from around his neck. In his right hand he carried a large scythe with a glowing blue blade. Before he knew it, the two had completely vanished, leaving behind their "prison body" they were trapped inside. How interesting for a plot twist, Project Omega was supposed to be behind the gate which was released, only to serve as a carrier to the TRUE keepers of the gate, the Keeper of Life and the Keeper of Death. Damn stupidity of our ancestors... "Damn it..." was the only words the Organization leader muttered. The two Navis however had other plans now that they were released. | She reacted almost instantanously, AreaGrabbed herself to another portion of the roof, in fact, the roof near the Arena Stadiums. The wind blew briskly, her red scarf fluttering in the wind as she ripped out her katana from behind her. | |||

| The real Phantom Cross Marino was outside the area, the shadow clone vanishing upon getting attacked.
She smiled deviously, her katar orbs glowing. A REAL ninja would fight without using traps to give him or her a high advantage, and if Phantom was a real shinobi, he would fight her without trapping an opponent in a closed-off enviroment, that is if he wasn't attacking an obvious clone. Face me you mystery ninja... She knows her opponent is a shinobi much like herself, what she doesn't know is the identity. |

| OOC: Be advised and forewarned, for the following posts has less or likely pissed you off for crafty shinobi tricks already played. This battle is very, very, different... relying only on the Art of Shinobi, and all that Marino has familiarized herself with.
Marino would test her skills as a ninja, but not in the public where possible bystanders could get caught in crossfire. She was nowhere NEAR said roof where Phantom was. If He knew any better, he would of noticed that when she wall jumped, the one that headed his way was a shadow clone. The real Marino was jumping away towards the forest area at the park. The last time she used the forest area for a shinobi battle was against another ninja named Alexhaur Taido. He was a relativly strong ninja, one who gave her a run for her money. She forgotten who was the victor of that one shinobi battle, but she did remember using a doppelganger of Phantom.EXE for minor help. She's gotten much better. She smirked, as the orbs on her katar-weapons glowed, yet again the attakc had collided with another shadow clone. Swinging her arm before her, they fired a trio of energy kunai towards Phantom's location whilist dragging the katana along the ground causing sparks to fly as she sprinted forward, slashing her sword in the direction her opponent was more likely to dodge towards. If Phantom manages to avoid it, she quickly leaps up towards him, forming an energy shuriken and sent it flying with a deadly arc. "So, my mystery ninja reveals himself... Phantom. What the fuck do you want other than wanting to kill me and my friends?" She's unhindered by the Shadow Tag, because Phantom Cross neutralizes field traps. |

| Too bad... Marino dropped down as more of her shadow clones were getting attacked, under a veil of some sorts to neglect any damage for a short while.
"You should know who I am already you pansy. Just quit the tricks and duel me already!" She would force him to draw out his weapons by releasing several wheels of shuriken flying towards him. Phantom Cross can indicate where her opponent really is, no matter what the hell he does to conceal himself so it's pretty much useless. |

| As before, no matter how many astrological projections conjured, Phantom Cross can easily pinpoint the real target, so it's useless. The more he stalls, so will Marino. "If you are a true shinobi, drop your stupid little Shadow Viel and face me like a real ninja!" She growled as she undergone another Cross transformation.
Her helmet changed form completely to resemble Fefnir's with a part of her old helmet jutting forward into a pair of golden horns as a visor appeared over the eyes with a white fang shaped frame surrounding the face, armed with two Knuckle Busters. Versus Fefnir’' design, her Knuckle Busters were smaller and were far sharper on the outer edges, indicating a preference for slashing, rather than crushing. Pinkish red armor is clamped on the side of her thighs, the bodysuit black. She also wore thick red boots with thick gold anklets and bracelets, but her greaves and gauntlets around the upper arms and body became more compact, the body itself was covered with a pattern of flames. Her shoulder gauntlets which the left side had a short stubby spike pointing up was similar to a cross between Fefnir's shoulder gauntlets and FootMan's. She flared up considerably, dispelling the darkness briefly before shoving both Knuckle Busters down into the ground and unleashing a searing wave of fire all around. If the surrounding enemies got washed down, they'll resemble molten metal. "Now..." With the ring dozen taken out, flames surrounded her before she exited her Cross Link, now in her normal armor, but in Quicksilver Style. |

"Well..." David picked up the Final Gun chip, "This kills the enemy..." He set it down and picked up the Black Weapon chip, "This kills the enemy and everyone else around you." Alia sweatdropped, as she put the baby to sleep. "David.... are you upset about what transpired a half hour ago?" "About how our ancestors are incredibly stupid by putting the dangerous Navis in a carrier program that we all thought was the ultimate program of destruction? Duh... now that the two Navis Pandora and Prometheus are on the loose... shit's just getting more fucked up." Alia walked over and kissed him on the lips. "Shh, do not worry... for now we must offer as much help as we can to our friends." "You're right... so, how was Leviathan when she found out she was going to be our daughter's Net Navi in a few years?" "She was happy when I told her this morning." "I should head ot the R&D. Dr. Hikari sent me some data about a possible new PET. Though the name is unknown, I suggested he called the next set of PETs, the PET GX; GX standing for Generation X." "Why does that sound oddly familiar to some old wrestling fandom name?" Alia questioned suddenly. David shrugged. o o o "C'mere you little bitch... and face me unless you are a coward..." She grinned, her battle mask deployed down to cover her face all except her lips. She was currently using her main weapons; Beam Chakrams, and her sub weapon is the Windmill Shuriken combined with her Aninsutouru. She waited for the right time to attack with the Windmill / Aninsutouru combo attack. If her plan worked, then Phantom's Shadow Tag will be "uninstalled" for the remainder of battle whenever he likes it or not. Alrighty now, I have a good idea where he really is. I need to wait, and draw him out unless the little fucker is a wimp and scared to actually fight me. God help his soul he isn't a sexist little freak. |

She transformed into a simple doll, while the real Marino burst from her hiding and grasping the inner ring of the Windmill Shuriken slashed in a circle around her, the large shuriken itself spinning like a deadly buzzsaw. She is thinking far ahead to keep herself in the game.
If Phantom got struck, Aninsutouru (Uninstall in english) will disable the Shadow Tag, and also uninstall other forms of external power-ups (that includes Negate chips and Cyber-Elves). Hit or miss, she had split into several copies, releasing a multiple of smaller shuriken with deadly curved arcs as a blanket attack. |

| Plan backfires. She used a conbination of Kawamiri, Kagebunshin, Tenziyouura, and Voodoo Doll. First, after she had inavertedly switched places somehow, she used Kagebunshin to conjure a solid clone during a counter Kawamiri to evade that predicament. While the invisible Marino used Tenziyouura (Dropdown) to melt into the ground and thus become invincible until her next attack, the flashbomb went off and struck the now transformed Voodoo Doll which was in placxe of the "trapped" Marino, which was a bail of hay shaped like a roughly made doll form.
Now that the Voodoo Doll was attacked, a poisonous cloud of miasma explodes all across the battlefield. This destroys the enemy's shadow clones, and also inflict damage fo whatever damage the Flashbomb would of normally done (or whatever status effects it inflicts). During this time, she shifted into a Cross Form, but that remains to be unseen until she reappears for an attack. |

She surprised him by using the Kakigenkin. The so called fiery explosion was all absorbed into a statue of a dragon, which after the gentle harmless glow of its ruby eyes, retaliated with a stream of intense fire at double it's strength, also combined with Aninsutouru. She Yukashita'd (Pop-up'ed) as twins, from his left and right, which ment his way of escape is to dodge the swipe of the swords from Shadow Cross Marino by going back or to leap high into the air to also evade the countered fire attack... or could he be walking into yet another devious trap...? Who knows... |

| Phantom's ability was countered by Marino's own Interrupt ability, which means two Interrupts cancel each other out; which also meant what was supposed to happen never happened.
"Please... be more challenging. Even ShadowMan-sama was tougher on his best days." Phantom had a good look on Shadow Cross Marino. Unlike his Phantom looking Cross Mode she has, Shadow Cross was different. Her armor was purple and black, with the armor thinning around the legs and arms, and sandals fused to her boots. The bodysuit is pitch black but loose-fitting like cloth, an unzipped vest with a long red scarf reaching down to her lower back and the Muramasa strapped to her back. Spiked wristbands are wrapped around her wrists, with knuckle guards around her gloves, and white armor is clamped to the side of her legs. o o o Almost instantly, ShadowMan sneezed inside his PET. Myabi-san glanced at his Navi inside the PET, with an eyebrow raised. ShadowMan answered without having to hear the question. "I'm sorry, but I had the odd feeling someone is speaking about me behind my back." Myabi-san merely nodded and returned back to his meditation routine |

| She grinned as she jumped back to give them distance. "Ahh, deja'vu... how oddly familiar..."
FLASHBACK - Battle Network Tournament "ShadowMan VS. Phantom" "It's time to end this," ShadowMan declared. At precisely the same moment, the two shinobi leapt into the air and attacked. Sparks flew as their weapons collided and the fight raged on. With neither combatant giving into fatigue, they drove themselves to their absolute limits and poured all their strength into their attacks. "Phantom, end it quickly!" ordered Greg. Phantom flipped away from his opponent and performed an extremely long and complicated sequence of hand signs in fast speeds. When he was finished, a black hole opened up behind him and Nebula Grey rose out from it. The giant monstrosity roared before transforming into Forte, who built up a giant ball of energy in his hand and launched it down on ShadowMan. The resulting explosion nearly destroyed half of the pagoda. When the smoke cleared, ShadowMan could be seen breathing heavily leaning on his sword for support. "Looks like this is the end," Greg smirked. "Don't be so sure," Dark Myabi chided, "We let your attack hit. Just so we could execute our strongest maneuver." Back inside the battle grid, ShadowMan got back to his feet and clutched his sword tightly in his hands. A demonic aura began to emanate from the blade, giving the battlefield a sudden feeling of dread, fear, and despair. "Yes, Muramasa," whispered ShadowMan, "Drink my blood. Feed on my pain. Use my suffering to increase your strength." The sword pulsed in its wielder's grip. "So this is the true power of the Muramasa," Greg said in awe. "And that's just ShadowMan's own weapon," Dark Myabi reminded, "See what happens when I send him the actual chip. Muramasa Battlechip, slot-in!" A second sword appeared in ShadowMan's other hand and it also began to emit a demonic aura. "Phantom! Crest of Arcadia Battlechip, slot-in!" A white column of light engulfed Phantom and the Crest of Arcadia replaced his icon and his eyes became tinted red. "Let's see which is stronger," ShadowMan said menacingly, "the power of the Crest of Arcadia or the power of death." The two ninjas rushed towards each other at maximum speed. The contrast between their auras was overwhelming. The opponents met midway and slashed. They reappeared behind each other on opposite corners of the roof and remained motionless. A gust of wind blew past and everything was silent. Phantom's face remained motionless, devoid of anything. ShadowMan however, his eyes widened in surprise. SHADOWMAN LOGGING OUT END FLASHBACK She smiled oddly enough, shifting into the same stance ShadowMan was in when he battled against Phantom.EXE once landing on the ground. The sword oddly enough began to grow more powerful. The reason is because she stabbed herself with several kunai, using the damage she inflicted upon herself to allow the demonic blade to increase in power. Then, it pulsed in her tight grip, knocking the kunai in her body out and clattering harmlessly on the ground. The wind blew, blowing back on her scarf, the blade glinting in the glow of the pale moonlight. She was ready to take on Phantom's challenge... if he was willing to honor the shinobi code. |

After what seemed like minutes, she shot down at her maximum speed, a blur really. She will leap into the air, and right before the blade lets off a glint of moonlight, she swings her blade and will also be in the position that her airborne position is flawless. After this attack, like the end fo any shinobi duel, appear sbehind teh opponent at the opposite side, completely motionless. |
