Yeah, but that was simply too much of an in-joke to catch on. We need to have something completely random, and we'll need "administrative support" like we had during the fish day. The fact that it is random (or PERFECTLY timed) matters. Changing all our names to the names of flowers for no reason probably isn't going to do anything this point.

1. The Chuck Norris fad sucks.
2. He's too powerful for it to be fair to the bad guys.
3. Captain? Oh, please. If he were to be on the show, he should be the Fleet Admiral or Admiral of the [Space Fleet].
4. The Chuck Norris fad sucks.
5. The Chuck Norris fad REALLY sucks.

I believe that fading to white glitch was related to a buggy patch. If I remember correctly, it had something to do with an ASM hack that required overworld levels to be repointed after doing something. I believe it can be triggered with other things as well. The hosted version may be one of those buggy versions.

I believe you could trigger that manually and do it yourself by entering the "speed up gameplay" code a couple of times. Doing so also allowed you to get a bulletproof, fireproof, explosionproof and damageproof Stretch.

Posted on 04-07-06 11:50 PM, in What are some of the most annoying enemies (in any Mario game) ? Link
Phanto isn't that bad. I've even outrunned him on more than one occasion with Toad. As for the monkies, they were really only problemestic in More Monkey Madness.

SM64: Remember that crazy piano? That thing is scary the first time. Then it just gets annoying.

SMB2: Blue Panzers, in certain spots.

SMB3: Fire Spitting nipper plants can piss me off sometimes.

But let's not forget the ultimate enemy of almost every platformer: THE LAVA. Instant death in a video is not funny in any way shape or form (unless you're dealing it of course). THE BOTTOMLESS PITS get honourable mention as being the second most ultimate enemy of every platformer.

You were probably thinking of more poll testing. But if you are sure you posted here, either you are getting mixed up, or there has been...ahem..."moderator/administrator interference".

So let me get this straight. You have to level up to level 99 if you want to do the Hades Cup? Or am I missing something there?

I can tell you this much: Colin's disappearance is the least of my worries of people who have vanished (temporarily) from the internet right now. He's only been gone one day and it probably isn't that big a deal.

Do it. You know you want to. If he did kill you, he might even use a firearm, like the .357 Magnum or the Colt M4.

Bloodstar knows this very well. I've attempted to make a quest with it, but I found the process incredibly boring and lengthy with standards that are far too iffy for it to be worth it. Playing the better quests, however (Dreams of Yesterday and Hidden Duality, for example), is very fun.

By searching around for posts on said message board, perhaps? You know, people usually do write suicide notes.

Because they have no one else to turn to? Or maybe because they feel as if they're closer to users on the internet rather than their families? I've seen it happen several times. In fact, I even was present at the time of someone saving another internet user from commiting suicide by calling the police (they even went as far as to recover information), even though said person hardly knew the suicidal user.

But in the cases that they do follow through...the guy I was describing drank a bunch of ether on webcam. Although people were mad or joking about it at first, their mood changed when they found out he actually did it. Some jokes continued, most of them being witty (one in particular was a joke about him having his MP restored), but for the most part, it was serious. We even formed a chat to help dig up information.

Well, most game creation things, for anything remotely large like a quest for a Zelda game, will naturally take quite some time. That said, I think it might be worth it to attempt to make some "theme" kinds of things at some point, not anything particularly big.

Those are typically looked down upon, however. People tend not to notice (or even bash) those kinds of quests. In fact, the state it is in right now very much resembles a future state of the SMW Hacking forum, only with less idiots.

This goes in Movies, Music, and the Tube, not here. This place is for discussing the games. Second, a topic about this is already there in the MMatT fourm. And third, I see no clips anywhere on that page; only a place to order a DVD.

Ever heard of love-hate relationships? Or maybe it could be interpreted as "I love to hate you" or something.
