I've played the original one on an emulator before and had little trouble beating it. I also beat the All-Stars version way earlier, back when the internet was pretty much restricted to...well...you get the idea, right?

I believe the proper term is "black comedy". Some people find different things funny. I didn't find the myspace emo fad funny on YTMND. Except "Secret Nazi Myspace suicide". Reading that with a German accent is just so damn funny for some reason.

Quick Man's stage looks nice. Nice work with the Metroid and Mario graphics. Good work on the ripped graphics from other Mega Man games as well. However, you should still fix the palettes in Metal Man's stage.

Not necessarily. You could use mini-Norrises in the place of Buzzy Beetles, so when it spins, it does roundhouse kicks. But the Chuck Norris online fad sucks, anyhow. We all know that he really isn't like that. In fact, in one movie, Chuck Norris's character fell to being smacked by a paddle. But Chuck wouldn't fit in with the game's theme anyhow.

Very bizarre. You can also see the default background "outlined" in both screenshots. Something must be overriding the custom background code Lunar Magic installs into hacks. It may be related to m16-7k, but I'm not sure. It's just a scapegoat with some truth to it due to it being notorious for causing bugs to be triggered. It could also be related to space in the ROM (long story short, you've probably run out of physical room in the ROM for backgrounds), but I'm just guessing there.

As for the animation problem, I could have animation in my backgrounds. I don't know why this is happening to you.

Ahh...yes. The good ol' "life interferance" cause of hack cancellation. That sucks. One question though. Why exactly did you choose to unrelease it and eventually rerelease it with more features, however? It was fine the way it was before.

Very nice, Jasp. One problem, though. The water and sand part of the background scrolls far too quickly. It shouldn't scroll faster than the foreground; that just looks unrealistic and weird.

Sometimes, you need to do that, Alastor. Other times, CJayC messes up or something while managing FAQs. Although I've never had problems with duplication, one of my associates who provided a lot of information for my GTAA Bulletproof guide (johnnyseven/aftica) had a similar problem when submitting game saves with all the bulletproofs collected. They wouldn't accept an update to it for some reason, rejecting it as duplicate.

What the...? It's a good start, but it needs a lot of work. One thing to remember while making hacks is that just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should. This is doable, but very difficult to make good while still staying true to Bubble Bobble.

Last I remember, duplication rejects were restricted to games with enough FAQs for them already or accidental multiple submitions of FAQs.

On a random post-related note, activity is dying again. Xkeeper's happy hour is coming up soon. Coincidence? I think not! Xkeeper must have invented a time machine to see just when activity would die down! Incidently, it was near his birthday. So he planned to have it then to cover it up! It's all a conspiracy!
