I thought as much.

Oh, and Xkeeper, it isn't anonymous. The board is a lot crazier than this one though; and registration is closed off. There aren't as many rules in place, aside from intentionally being annoying. Just about everyone there is fairly mature, but have what some would consider immature senses of humor. But pretty much everyone on the boards (including myself) have posted secrets in that topic. The topic has been active for about a year and a half with 2000+ posts, and nobody has been viewed differently as a result of posting dark secrets. Some were even humorous; but one of the best ones was about a guy and his friend "fucking up" a kid by telling him about an evil monster that preys on little children. The setup was so awesome that it really stood out. If you want the full details, just ask me and I'll send it to you via PM.

Only one that stands out in my head is this one. And it probably is correct grammar; it just struck me as odd, though.

Not necessarily. At the end of the mysterious mountainside slide, you could put a teleport block to prevent jumping back up.

Oh, and an idea for an ASM hack would be a block that forces Mario to run full speed to the right against his will (and one that cancels that effect, of course). This could be used in a level with a theme similar to the bear riding levels in Crash Bandicoot 2, or Stampede Sprint in Donkey Kong Country 3.

It would also be nice to have a hack that forces you to stay on Yoshi, except in block form. That would go along with the above hack; and it'd have an "off" version of the block of course. (BMF is making a similar hack, only it is permanent; ie. lasts the entire hack)

You could slip water in there as sections of stomach acid that are weaker, but I doubt that would be an easy task. As for the depth of the ribcage, it looks better from a graphical standpoint, but you should really make it look more fuzzy to give a feeling of it being farther away.

Good job. There must still be some extra values you need to get everything right, though. With these codes, pretty much everything save the graphics work. One of those other values I came up with should signify the engine sounds. For example, the speed and acceleration is borrowed from the car you select at first.

Oh, and I decided to put the Trailer into the CPU's hands in Battle Trax mode. Hilarity ensued.

Yes, you do race as the trailer cab alone with no wheeles - the trailer itself is not present. In addition, it seemed more prone to screwing up due to its large size.

I like it. Really gives an old-school feel to the game. You could work the graphics a little, though. Not having to worry about colors could really help you make better graphics.

On this slow Sunday, I woke up and began posting here. I played around a little with some ROMs within the past two hours, a usual day, really. Although my little brother had his computer fixed. Idiot went and got a hard-to-remove virus that caused porn ads to pop up on his computer. It wasn't even good porn. You'd think they would put a little work into the offensive part of their virus. If I were a virus maker, I'd cause the Pain series to pop up randomly rather than that crap.

Well, you should have a reason for having a grey palette. "It has never been done before" or "It's an interesting concept" or any variation is not a valid excuse, either. Perhaps the game takes place in an earlier time. Whatever the case, the graphics and the levels should fit the grey theme. And add some variation. You could have a western/desert world that is brown-shaded, for example.

The chain chomps are looking better, but still need a lot of work. It would make a lot more sense to simply rip them from SMB3. Also, look near the top left of the screenshot. There's a ledge there that has a diagonal ledge floating over it.

GTA4? There is no such thing yet. Unless you meant Vice City. A very good game nevertheless - it's my favorite Grand Theft Auto game.

I think he already knows our posting here. He's probably just too lazy to fix it, or this is really how it was intended. After all, it does say test THREADS. It said nothing about posting in said test threads. And the "suckers" are the people not on the staff.

You don't rape people with your e-penis. You show it off to everybody and laugh at those with small ones. Take note that an e-penis is really just a fancy term for your ego online.

SNESTool has quite a few bugs in it - and is really intended for ROM Management in general. Use LunarIPS or something instead.

And a four-level demo is a good idea, as you get better as you go along. Just look at SoNotNormal's hack for proof.

GTA3 is a good game too, but it might be the nostalgia effect that makes me like GTA:VC better. It also seemed like a harder game in general, and the final mission was a little more climatic to me (I just used the Rhino on GTA3's final mission).

Although the ped quotes in GTA3 are so damn awesome.

"My mother's my sister!"
"In the navy!"
"You can sail the seven seas."
"I'm gonna getcha."
"You got any bright ideas what to say?"

Well, he isn't a very active user, so he has to do that, or he wouldn't be recognized at all. Although I don't understand why a lurker would come out of hiding to celebrate his or her birthday, but that's still no reason to bash said user for doing so.

Just be glad they didn't flat out make a wang-shaped stylus. Keep in mind though, Japan is a lot more sick, twisted and perverted than North America.
