182077607309.34, I believe that is a bug with the emulator you are using and/or its savestates. The glitchiness has nothing to do with the the hack itself.

Aren't you forgetting the time when Link dug up a flute with a Shovel? If he hadn't done that, he never would've been able to go to Misery Mire, and the world would be destroyed by Ganon. I'm sure that qualifies as saving lives.

whoa nerd alert

Oh, come now. Everybody here who has had a proper childhood would get that reference. Now, if you really want a nerdy reference, you'd say something like "there is a shovel next to a house in Blueberry" or "Harry and Marv were knocked out by Marley the alleged shovel slayer, saving Kevin's life" or something like that.

That being the case, it's obviously related to ZSNES instead of being a true problem with the hack. I noticed ZSNES's compatibility all around is going down as it becomes a "better" emulator. Sure, more things seem to work on it, but more things become broken as well. This probably wouldn't happen on SNES9x. But it's a silly thing to worry about, no big deal. There is a slim possibility that it is related to one of Lunar Magic's ASM hacks (or something else), but I doubt it.

Well I hear that if you mod your game, you can make it so that the people in the Pokemon world aren't braindead about what goes on in those daycare centers. It'd be a very inexplicit description ("children like you shouldn't know about things like this"), but at least they'd show intelligence.

In seriousness though, it's funny how they don't know how it works, while it's fairly obvious to most older people how it really does work. Since there are eggs, I doubt that genitalia are involved, but...I think we'll just leave it at that.

Too bad I forgot my password

And that's why we write our hard-to-guess passwords down and/or put them in a place where nobody would look. Isn't there some way you can retrieve the password via the database, though? Considering you still have access to it.

Well, as you know, the fastest recorded speed run for 16 stars is 19 minutes and 47 seconds, so that isn't that bad of a time, Kiraxo. You'll still need to improve though if you want to join the big leagues. If you try hard enough, you could be able to get near the 18 minute mark, so it's best that you turn to the boards on SDA for advice.

Your second problem is related to the events. They have to be set properly if you want the paths to appear right. As for the first problem, you need to look in the Initial Level Setting Flags in the overworld editor. Those options that are checked are likely causing your problems.

To remove the smoke, open the Overworld editor, press the Lakitu button, click on the smoke, and press "delete" on your keyboard. As for your other problem...yeah. That FAQ is kind of dull and non-descriptive. I'll see if I can make a better description than that.

It's going to take a long time. If I do it, it'll take about a week at most (three or four days at best, one if I spend the entire day, but it's late right now so...) to write up the whole thing in a way so that most people could understand it (images would be included). But unless you're that patient, it's best you try to follow the text version.

I would upload them, but the last time I checked, the board has a policy on linking to copyrighted material.

Open up the Overworld editor, click the file menu, look under "title screen", and select "load title screen". Go wild. Open up the 8x8 overworld tile selector to select tiles you need. Save the title screen by pressing F12 after you're done.

DIsplay Case would be better suited, as this topic is careening out of control, heading straight for the gutter.

And I have a link to a crazy image that shows pretty much every female from Pokemon in one image...I don't think it's such a good idea to link to it here, though. Maybe in private.

Holy shit Clockworkz. I've never seen a hotter 403 error. Wait...reload? Hmm...ignoring those rules we've got, I've still seen better than that. Still, when you have material such as that, you're supposed to imply for them to ask you for it over AIM or something.

I just had to highlight the address bar in lololol and press enter in order to get it to load. Like I said though, it's not a very good picture.

Well I don't. Too many people are using it, forcing me to click screenshots instead of just being able to gaze at them and see all the detail in an instant. Not to mention that when they're attached, you can't view them in the thread overview when posting a reply.
I agree. I vote we take png's jpgs, and gifs out of the acceptable attachments thingy.
You do realize that the images he attached are 1024x768, correct? To "gaze by them" would be to stretch the tables and generally screw everything up, not to mention some people (hi!) are still using 800x600.

Jeez.

Then why doesn't he just reduce the images to a smaller size? You can do it easily with certain free software *coughIrfanViewcough*. Or better yet, don't use the SNES9X for taking screenshots. Too many people use Alt+Print Screen with a fully maximized window with a stretched image to take screenshots with that emulator. They don't use a proper size/screenshot option/emulator for taking screenshots. That's all there would be to it.

The original didn't have any special features. Some of its spin-offs did. Incidently, I have one in my room at this moment, but it doesn't have any batteries.

The plus signs HAVE gotten old. Unless we initiate that hoax, there is no point in keeping them anymore.

I somehow doubt it'll last that long. Acmlm would probably become too lazy to manage the boards. But if so, I'd think that there would be at least two more games with editors as user friendly as LM, we'd all be talking about the "good ol' days", young members would feel discouraged to come here being surrounded by old people, and Duke Nukem Forever would still be delayed.
