If you have a microphone, then Sound Recorder is pretty much the only thing you need. Just hit Record and start singing. Note that it only records up to 60 seconds at first, but you can counter that by recording a while, then using "decrease speed" several times.

That made me think of something. We could easily pull a huge hoax on those boards that way. Don't know how we'd pull it off, though, but if it works, the results would be hilarious. Of course, we'd have to destroy all evidence of the planning, but it'd be worth it just to see their reactions when and if we make them believe that a + makes them special in some way, but you have to do something (we don't tell them what, or even hint) in order to get it. A while after that, we could change a few member's names to have ++.

Then again, that'd be rather cruel. But I have to admit, it'd be fun to play the bad guy for once.

Yeah, I said it. Those "chipmunk" songs can all go to hell. The point being that lowering the pitch of certain songs makes them sound like Satan (from South Park) himself is singing it. Sure, according to YTMND, that would be a Darth Vader. But the mental image of Satan singing songs that way is so funny for some bizarre reason.

I mean, I slowed down the "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" theme song and added an echo for good measure, and I couldn't control my laughter. All the instruments were pretty much missing, and it sounded like Satan was singing into a microphone.

Then I tried the Benny Hill theme. Let's just say that if you were to slow that down a little in addition to lowering the pitch (Sound Recorder will do this perfectly), it makes the perfect background music to being stoned or drunk or something.

Finally, I tried the Safety Dance. My friend managed to make it sound perfectly like a satanic song by screwing around a lot (lowered the pitch, added an echo and sped up the tempo slightly). It seemed almost as though the song was MEANT to be played that way.

Try it, both with your own songs and with others, and you'll agree.

That's what I was talking about. Only a global-scale feminine bomb like the female button (which does not work anymore, but now that I've said it, X is probably going to fix it) can turn a logged-out poster into a cross-dresser.

Juggling Joker, those kinds of cliffs are pretty much specific to your style of tile-making. They'll turn out fine in hacks that need the filters to look good, but as for everything else...no...

Unless you mean to adapt a realistic style. Which, in that case, it would take a hell of a lot of work for it to look right.

Where the hell did I say it is? By that, I meant that Juggling Joker was suggesting to you to create a realistic version of his cliffs. That is, using the dark, normal, light pattern. See how all the \ corners are dark, the / corners are light, and the straight on ones are in the middle? I thought he was implying you make a variation of that with realistic tiles.

Are they in the ExGraphics directory in your hack? Are they named correctly? Have you extracted and inserted the standard Graphics? That's a slightly vague description of what you're doing.

Is the ExGraphics folder in the same folder as your hack is? That's probably the case if that's the error you are getting. If it is and the error persists, perhaps you named the files incorrectly.

Palette editing, of course. Open up the overworld editor, and under the overworld menu, select "Edit Colors and Palettes...". Then you can edit the overworld palettes to look however you wish. In his case, Alastor simply darkened the colors systematically.
