Actually, you can Alastor. You just need to go to modhist.php, and it'll show your moderated messages. But yeah, they're working on that.

Well, their logic back then was "you should know why you got banned", although that proved to be rarely the case. You could always try logging into your banned account again and viewing the moderation history.

Meh. I remember the merging business. Why didn't you merge it right away like I did with mine, though? Also, remember the initial reactions to the GameFAQs/Gamespot merger? Many users threatened to suicide their accounts if this turned out to be true. The funny thing is, this information was leaked to the public by a hacker.

Oh, I see. If I remember correctly, the Black Mist incident took place around that time. You were probably banned in the resulting usermap axe.

I heard that Mario Kart DS registers a disconnect as a loss. It's easy to see why they might act this way, though. They're young, they're all sore losers. However, I do agree that the snaking technique is a little unfair to those who cannot do it consistantly. But nevertheless, that's still no reason for them to get their "panties in a knot", so to speak. Some take their fear of snaking a little too far, such as the guy Kirby ATW spoke of.

It does indeed look very...beta-esque. It would be fun to play as Mario in a Sonic game, though. But at any rate, it seem like an interesting concept. Oh, and you should hack the S3&K version, not regular Sonic 3. It's just a much better game when they're combined.

This has nothing to do with plot-related spoilers, or inevitabilities. I'm talking about moments in games where you were completely in control, that surprised you, perhaps giving you a "okay, what the hell do I do!?" moment of thought. For example, going out into the Market after becoming an adult in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. A long story short, in this topic, we post memories of gameplay moments where you were in control. This can be anything, such as beating a difficult level in a game so you can see the next one, reaching a certain point, and so on.

Personally, I pretty much went into a trance when I reached the Forest Temple in OoT for the first time.

I didn't make four tiny posts and edit content into them. I had five or six premade posts ready to fire off around midnight. Sort of like a lower, more rule-abaiding version of the "last minute" posts you used to do. Oh, and the first one (my taunt about you not counting on winning) was deleted by somebody for some strange reason. It wasn't me.

EDIT: Looks like my user rating has dropped. Somebody (Xkeeper if my calculations are correct) doesn't like what I did today.

Not exactly. My logic in doing so was by watching Kyouji/Alastor's posting patterns. As I mentioned before, I noticed that he often tries to aim just a few posts above the [second-place] user. If I had spread those posts out, he would've aimed to beat that. Remembering an old trick he did, I decided to adapt my own version of it.

Oh, and Traps, it wasn't that negative. In short, the staff discovers you have "immunity" (presumably to being banned), all hell breaks loose, and all staff except Xkeeper lose their powers for a certain period of time in order to cool down. This topic in the Display Case will explain everything as it was happening.

Heh, I saw that run. Not bad, either.

I just remembered another one. Going into the dark world for the first time in Zelda 3. Another one I remember distinctively was the final mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. That was a very fun mission.
