| Merry Nazi Christmas. Let's sing Christmas songs, nazi style.

| See Wikipedia's article on it for more information. I could care less about the stories of friendship, trust, love, sharing, generosity etc. that pertain to Christmas. After learning about the Christmas truce, I disregarded all of those as trivial examples of holiday spirit. Giving up war temporarily just to celebrate Christmas with the opposing side? If that's not THE true story of cheerful, idealistic behavior on Christmas, I don't know what is. All I can say is: it must've been awkward going back to war afterward. | |||

Originally posted by Racer Xeo You bet your fucking ass it has. With the latest custom firmware, you are able to play PSX ISOs on your PSP, with little to no problems. You have games like GTA, MGS, and Monster Hunter PSP. You a slew of emulators for various consoles, as well as homebrew programs. And eventually, you'll get games like the Final Fantasy Tactics remake. I still don't understand what many people have against the PSP. It's a good system - if you're open minded. In a community so biased for Nintendo, though, my words are probably just falling on deaf ears. |

Originally posted by D Not as much as you might expect, actually. All it takes is some patience, some confidence, and a USB cable. If you have all that, and are able to follow instructions, you won't screw anything up (of course, they have to be proper instructions). Keep in mind that there are good games on the PSP - its entertainment value is not strictly limited to homebrew and emulation. And who says you can't have both a DS and a PSP? Your bank balance, maybe, but both are good systems that are worth having. |

Originally posted by Kailieann So you cast the game aside, judged it to be terrible, and assumed the rest was similarly terrible just from that? Tell me: you used infinite hearts and infinite bombs: but did you think to cheat to get a key? You could've done that and moved on.
I'll admit: I'm stuck there too, but I haven't thoroughly checked yet (EDIT: Oh, look, I found it. I didn't expect to find it there at first.). It's a pain in the ass - yes - but I'm not going to give up on the rest of the game just because of that one dungeon. I'll just make my comment on it: it's overkill. There's a fine line between being able to run and/or Solid Snake your way through something, and having to do the same, except with luck (see: avoiding the homing charging guards). I'll see what the rest of the game is like when I get there, though. (edited by asdf on 12-31-06 10:26 PM) (edited by asdf on 12-31-06 10:27 PM) |

| Well, you need to try to sneak by the guards. When they're looking a way, run. The only hard part is the randomness, but even then, you'll hopefully be running to safety by then.
Bombs? Spoiler:
Buy them at the village shop. You can find rupee hordes lying around in various caves - explore! And...I made it out alive. For whatever reason, it felt pretty epic walking out at night. Also, I found more proof that people should continue further on in the game before judging something. In regards to this "bug", check out why that's not true. (okay, granted, it's not what you would expect opens it initially: even I thought it was a bug prior to finding out about that item, but the point remains) |

Spoiler:
Remember the combination the arrows give you. You'll need them later. As for the flippers item, if I remember correctly, you should search around Merchant's Way. My progress? I'm about to enter Din's Catacombs. (edited by asdf on 01-01-07 03:56 PM) (edited by asdf on 01-01-07 03:56 PM) |

| D: They're not as annoying as I first thought.
ICheatAtGolf: Spoiler: From the first locked door (not the one at the entrance), head right a few times then head south. You should be in a room with two blue and orange tentacle enemies. Kill the one on the left and it'll drop the key. |

Originally posted by FPI Yeah. And the cinema won't appear if Big Boo is the boss defeated. Strangely, if Reznor is the boss, it will work fine. I haven't tried Bowser, although I'm sure it would just play the princess rescued sequence, then cut back to the map after it's over. |

| So, did you ever play with your siblings when you were younger? I mean games, and I mean normal games. And have you ever played any...interesting games? Well, the other day, a nine year old boy in Pakistan played an interesting game with his ten year old sister. The results of their little game made the news. The police were involved as well, and there's word that some people could be charged with crimes.
... They were re-enacting Saddam Hussein's execution. The brother and sister were trying to copy what they saw in the execution video. The parents tried to help him, but it was too late. He died. The parents could potentially be charged with negligence for this accidental death. You can read the article itself here. (edited by asdf on 01-02-07 03:47 PM) |

Personally, I'd purposely fuck up the economy for shits and giggles: it's not like it's not going to be messed up if I do something else. Maybe use it to buy a country and take over the Earth. |

No...I think he just doesn't feel like doing it anymore. At least the last ACS being at the end of a year is better than ending it in the middle of the year.
At least, I think it's the last one. |
