I think he's racing to 2500 posts or a bigger e-penis or something. The ACS ranking is just a "side-effect" of sorts. On the other hand, he seems so eager to come in first ("...give me a break...I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO STORM THE ACS"), despite already having the gold. It's probably just to boost his ego.

Quagsire is kind of slow though, but it's the best special-attacking Water/Ground type out of the three there are. The other two work best as physical attackers.

Looking good, SoNotNormal. I especially like 3-4. Outdoor ruin levels such as that are one of my favorite types of levels in hacks. Looking forward to seeing more.

Actually Swampert is half-decent. As long as you orient it into a physical attacker and not a special attacker, it'll do quite well. It's probably the second most used out of the RSE starters, and probably the third most used starter overall.

You could try Fast BG Scrolling, but eventually, it's going to run out track, and then you'd be screwed. Your best bet is to try using fast movement blocks from BlockTool and animation for the road.

You sure you made the patch correctly? When used, the intro logo is messed up, the title screen flashes up instantly (IE: No enclosing circle opening) as a mess of glitched graphics, and the "hurry-up!" theme plays. Most amusing game freeze I've seen in a while, but it won't do when you want to play.

Make the original file a normal SMW ROM with a 0x200 byte header. I checked the file myself, and it said stuff about the GFX files and ExGFX files being too large. I was able to fix the former by doing a little copying from the original ROM, but it still locks up (albeit differently) after the intro logo, probably due to ExGFX and Sprite Data corruption..

Danielle, it has to do with a certain prince. Try looking up piercings on Wikipedia.

As for me, I got to Level 6, searched for a while and thought "screw it" and stopped. Google wasn't behaving; all the maps it returned didn't have the location.

Only problem there is that if the player were to fall, they'd miss the road completely. But I suppose this could be fixed by placing (invisible) instant death blocks below the platforms. *shrug*

That's true, but I don't think it's a coincidence that the DS has so many reports of them. I rarely see anyone complaining about dead pixels on their monitors or televisions. However, I've heard a lot of reports about the DS having them. Of course, if they do fix the fact that they seem to come around with ease, there are still going to be some. But they won't be as plentiful was they were before, and that's all that matters. Right?

Two words. Power pellet. You could use those in the place of the starman item, I suppose. After all, those things were an important part of Pac Man. Fruit could also be thrown in somehow, although I don't see any practical use for them at the moment.
