| Hm? It might be something else, then. If you haven't done anything important, you can try importing all GFX, ExGFX, Levels and Map16 to a fresh ROM. Can you describe the freezing a little further, though? Does it freeze immediately, or at a certain point? | |||

| Last time I checked, Treecko was the best and most oft-used of the RSE starters. Besides, while Meganium may have better defense, Sceptile has more attack and is a hell of a lot faster than most Pokemon (same base speed as Alakazam). Plus, it gets Leaf Blade, the best damn grass move in the game. If you can get one with Hidden Power ice or fire type, and throw in Leech Seed and Substitute or something, you can dominate. Hell, it can stall as well as Venusaur if used correctly. (edited by asdf on 01-24-06 07:20 PM) |

Originally posted by SecretGlitch Heh, with creative use of managing palettes, you can actually get THREE ground colors available for use on the overworld. It's just a matter of changing palette 5 to meet the specifics of whatever you want it to be. The water boarders might screw up, but fixing that is only a matter of changing them to use palette 7. ![]() |

| Hmm...nice...Could you at least tell us the concept though? You make this hack sound interesting, even without the screenshots. At least give us something rather than just making an announcement topic... (edited by asdf on 01-24-06 08:46 PM) |

Keep in mind though, you only use two digits when dealing with ExGFX files with a number lower than 100 (IE: ExGFX??.bin). And remember, you can only use the first 8 lines during editing. If you go past that point, it will mess up. ![]() |

| First, extract your hack's GFX while using joined GFX files (it's faster this way). Open up the SMAS+SMW ROM in a tile editor. Near the beginning, you'll see the Luigi tiles. Copy them all. With these in hand, open up your hack's AllGFX.bin file. Switch to SNES mode and find the Mario tiles, located somewhere near the bottom. Paste the Luigi tiles into them. Then it's just a matter of fixing the palettes (make sure custom palettes isn't check while you do this), and you're all done! Be sure to put Mario's palettes on Luigi's old palettes as well. Incidently, I almost stayed up all last night watching Back to the Future 2. That's pretty much the only reason I stay up late anymore besides the internet; that is, to watch late-night TV. ![]() |

Actually, if I remember correctly, Rain has been in two games. Both Mortal Kombat Trilogy and the console version of UMK3 had Rain as a playable character. ![]() (edited by asdf on 01-24-06 11:25 PM) (edited by asdf on 01-24-06 11:25 PM) |

| There is only one Super Mario World editor that isn't Lunar Magic or a minor tweaking device. It's an overworld editor that is vastly inferior even to LM's original overworld editor. There are programs out there that will allow you to emulate Windows and run your programs, however. I don't have any links at the moment, nor do I know where they might be found, but I swear they are out there. | |||

Originally posted by Colin I agree, except swap underwear with boxers. But since we're playing loopholes, all I have to do is to is remove a section of my pants, and they become shorts. I have several pairs of special kinds of pants with zippers around halfway down the legs, going all the way around the pants. If you unzip them, your pants become shorts. The detatchable section can be reattached later if you desire. (edited by asdf on 01-24-06 11:45 PM) |

| Whoa, and he's not joking either. Another one that is on the first page of Meg White is "is Meg White a Bjork clone or what?" Searching for Bush gives the result on the first page "Dogs Hate Bush".
I also seem to recall there being a list of things not to search for on google image search with safesearch off. Many return results more disturbing than just regular offensive material. I lost it though, which could be viewed as both a good and a bad thing. |

| First, make sure you extracted the GFX. Then, hit F9 after you're done editing. | |||

| I put the dot over the i immediately after finishing it. No exceptions.
Speaking of the letter i, an uppercase i looks exactly like a lowercase L in many fonts. Funny too, because you can often bypass the censors of (lame) boards that have them if you do that. ![]() (edited by asdf on 01-25-06 06:59 PM) |

| To get Reptile, you had to get flawless victories on both winning rounds during a one-player fight on The Pit without blocking. Then, you had to perform a fatality. After you do that, you will go to the bottom of the pit to fight Reptile. Also, on the Arcade versions, things had to fly across the moon on both winning rounds, but this was not the case in the SNES and Genesis versions. | |||

| Quite simply, all you have to do is extract the GFX, then re-insert it. The ExGFX will be inserted with no problems after doing that. | |||

Damn, that is THE shit. Although from a "formal" standpoint, the solid graphics would clash with the hollow walls. Except we're not that formal, the walls look better hollow, and the objects look better solid. Don't make the walls not hollow though, as I tried it myself in an image editor. It made the other graphics fit in a little better, but it just doesn't look as cool anymore. I suppose that's because seeing the background through the hollow walls is a nice effect. |

| I don't know. Perhaps you should try one of those other mushrooms, maybe the red one followed up by the blue one? Or if that doesn't work, there's one other possibility. Under the File menu in Lunar magic, move your cursor to where it says "graphics." There should be something in there that is bound to help you. |
