What the...? The Xbox 360 has a lot of good games. It doesn't have much in the way of RPGs, but it excells in most other regions. Saint's Row and Dead Rising are two recent ones, with many others past, present and future. Elder Scrolls 4 is available for it as well. It's just wrong to say it is inferior to the PS3 and Wii without giving any explanation; the only one you seemed to mention is the accessories issue. Which is valid to some extent - but remember: not everyone is going to be using these accessories.

The blocks' graphics don't show up automatically. Your first problem is using Map16 167, don't do that. Use a Map16 tile 300 to FFF. Second, the block's graphics don't automatically show up - you have to put those in yourself. If you hover over the tile you inserted them to in the Map16 tile selector and a purple box pops up with a description of the block, you've done everything right. You just need to put the graphics in; use a combination of GFX/ExGFX edits and Map16 tile editing for that.

The yellow koopa thing could potentially be disabled. Thing is, things like Yoshis add another element of gameplay into hacks and make them more interesting. That's a problem with many hacks nowadays: they're far too bland. Of course, in this case, things could be designed in a way as to limit the use of Yoshi with No-Yoshi signs and careful use of enemies. As for almost everyone else, though, they really have to be less paranoid about not doing things the way they were intended to be done and "cheating" with such things like Yoshi.

Of course, but the point is, it should be designed in a way so that later questions are much harder than earlier ones. It makes more sense that way and is more akin to the game - otherwise, this is just "answer 15 questions".

The Fire Flower is "shoot everything in sight" useful, though. Granted, it doesn't work on everything, but it can turn a normally hard situation easy. Plus, if you don't like capes or Yoshis, don't use them while playing.

The restock problem can be remedied by disabling START+SELECT level exiting and gradually introducing powerups, and putting them near the middle of the level. Simply put, you'd only get to have a cape starting at the last few worlds, and even then you'd only be able to get them from near the middle of levels, so you'll have to be careful if you want to keep them (or sacrifice a life and take along a Fire Flower).

I don't have midterms at my school, and think the prospect is rather silly. Only some final exams which don't happen for a while, some of which are on a provincial scale. Nothing major, though.

I think it falls under both categories, Colin. Anyhow, without doing anything, I can say that multiple selections owns this "challenge" to some degree, but it's still pointless to do and likely to crash your computer after a while.

I'm a fan of the original. It just seemed more fun and creative than Star Fox 64, and had some absurd quotes of its own (in particular, everything ended with "!!"). No need to (be forced to) worry about stupid medals or anything either - you just start and shoot.

That's probably right. Somebody probably saw it, cleaned it up, maybe gave it a "proper burial", then washed off the road. This is especially the case in a suburban neighbourhood. Maybe a street cleaner was called.

Indeed, although to be fair, it is something that is legit for him to worry about. As for the first point, that's why I proposed Rule 39a. Everyone on the internet does that - just look at eon8 for example. It was fake and some people freaked out over it.
