It was originally Kafuka, but SOMEONE didn't like it.

Yeah, and that was fitting for today, but said someone didn't like Twinkle Star either - in fact, that someone seemed to dislike it more than Kafuka.

As did I to begin with, but after reading up on some sources of information, I found that he indeed was based around a child - or at most an early teenager. It even shows a little within some of the games - albeit slightly. Mega Man X is based around an adult.
