Yeah, well, like I was saying, what is the point of the Acronym tag anyhow? Why was it created - and what about crazy dotted underline being a part of it? There isn't really much use for the tag - I have yet to see a page (barring this one) that makes use of it.

That is a remarkable idea. Just make sure that it is a line graph: it will be better that way.

There are bound to be some noticeable patterns, particularly around the holidays. Nothing is for sure, however.

"Leaving your computer on all the time" simply means to keep it powered on - restarting doesn't matte. And remember: XP wasn't out at that time, and Windows updates isn't a part of that system. You don't necesaarily need to install things regularly too: and I don't see those people doing so.

It derives from a school of thought that when your computer is on, the wiring is hot, and when it is off, it is cold. However, eventually, the soldered wires supposedly become brittle from the temperature change and eventually crack. Another school of thought says that although that is true, leaving the computer on all the time can wear out your hard drive quicker and cause the cooling fan to die a premature death. You just can't win, so ideally, you should turn it off once a day.

It's that second-to-last paragraph that seals the deal for me. lololol does have its flaws, sure, but that doesn't mean it acts "wrong". And every problem is NOT caused by it. I feel as though if it's my civic duty to direct him to an deathtrap for IE6, riddled with spyware, viruses, and shit. Things that will cause problems for him, an IE user. After all: it's not lololol's fault IE is vulnerable to that sort of thing. And if that's not enough for him; a site that will screw up both FF and IE. Assignment 15 is also pretty silly: WMV is fine to some extent - although it shouldn't be used if possible (which it is). But WMA? Why the hell...?

A good amount of spam is intent on selling you stuff, though. I suspect most of the "stupid" spam is sent by people who aren't exactly fans of you (and with the state of the board, some of them are bound to come from here). If they're foolish enough to use their real email address, you could probably make them pay if you really wanted to.

I haven't been an avid fan of VLC either. It's slightly cumbersome and awkward-lookinmg. Does VLC work for things in browsers? Such as YTMND?

My computer has been restarting by itself lately due to a faulty power supply (again). I am using my PSP for this (again). On one particular restart, I leaned over to the computer box and said "YOU WHORE" in a very evil, growly way. Yeah, I'm not too fond of my computer's doings.

Now that's just badass. This is one of those times I actually enjoyed a run with warps - I typically have something against that kind of thing. The camera angle is bizarre though, and the cheering crowd is kind of annoying (Am I the only one who notices all such crowds sound the same? It always seems to have that one female with that EXACT tone (or very close to said tone going "WOOOO~")
